Poll: Bioware - Harry Potter Game

Who else would think it would be kind of cool if Bioware made an Harry Potter Single-player rpg, but not based on books/movies but is your own character in the universe? Maybe years after the ending of the last Harry Potter book so it wouldn't have to deal with the issues of being during the same time period.

I would think it would really fun.

I've found that I only enjoy the Harry Potter-verse in its book format.

Any game by Bioware is pretty much auto-win so I can't deny that a Harry Potter game made by them would be fun. I'd rather they make a Jade Empire 2 though

As much as I love Harry potter and bioware, I doubt it would work, can't imagine what the combat would be like.

Jade Empire was decent. However, it did have it's flaws, such as the cheesy storyline, lack of weapons and in some places, hideous camera orientations.

However, in subject, HP from BW? I guess if they added the BW twist, with all those interesting choices which makes BW games A BW GAME, then maybe, however, following book Canon will be unbearable.

Well thats a movie game, what I would like BW to make would be more of an open-world Harry Potter game, start from various backgrounds, go to various schools or not, and then continue from there.

If Bioware made it, it would be good. I wouldn't really care about it, though, as I don't like the books anymore and only enjoyed the movies somewhat.

Also, I really want to see how the new Harry Potter game will turn out. There's just something about me that finds the Boy Who Lived killing hobos with the Unforgivable Curses hilarious.

Could be interesting if done like with the Old Republic... meaning, take the general setting but in a distant (either past or future) era, I might even play that. Doubt it could be worked into the timeline of the books very well.

No. As much as i like and respect Bioware for their games, that would be that one title i'd not want to even acknowledge existence of. Sorry but for me Harry Potter is in the same room with Pokemon and Twilight for me.

On topic, I'd have to imagine if Bioware made it, it would be pretty good. But as someone else mentioned earlier, I don't think the books have been surpassed by any other medium the Harry Potter brand has been used in.

I'd personally prefer a RPG myself. The Insanity alone would make it a 10/10.
