Harley Q, my friend, you're not going to get a very accurate poll is this how you obtain your statistics. First off, you left out "black hair", "unnatural dye" and "no preference" options, so your poll is incomplete. Second, the place where you take your poll is very important. You're not getting "the most popular hair colour today", you're getting "the most popular hair colour today, as preferred by white, heterosexual, male gamers age 15-30" (this is the escapist's core demographic). If you want a more unbiased poll, you should include all hair options and poll people randomly on a street that's frequented by all types of people (rich/poor, old/young, male/female etc). Also consider breaking up the information you get into male/female answers, as people are always interested to find out what the opposite sex prefers.
If this was just a poll for the sake of fun on the internet, I wouldn't bother explaining how to avoid overly-biased statistics and all that, but if you're going to use the results of this poll for a class, you ought to make them as accurate as possible (no poll can be truly, 100% unbiased, but you can get close). Also remember that the larger your sample size, the more accurate your information. Polling 100 people, for example, will give you more accurate results than polling 10.
