I am perfectly happy donating any and all of my organs after death, on the condition that the person I give them to has to donate theirs on death (MUHAHA :p). As much as I want to donate blood, I'm paranoid enough that I'd be afraid I'd get shot/stabbed/etc and lose the remaining blood and die...but I'm happy with donating my blood after death ;)

Actually, if you froze a body and placed it in a vacuum would it explode due to pressure differences? Maybe you wouldn't be in one piece :O

i'm okay with donating blood. I don't feel ok with giving away my organs though.
might be my upbringing, might be my selfishness. I just hate the idea.

Regular blood donator and an organ donator (only to be, I kinda need these at the moment) here. I'd like to think my blood is helpful, and since I always get more (should it occur that I bleed out, that half a liter isn't going to actually save me), I guess it's the right thing to do.
As for the organs, I have absolutely no need for them again. I don't smoke or drink, so I imagine if a brick falls on my head they'll be quite salvageable. So it's either letting them rot in me down in the ground or letting people who actually need them to live have them.

Oh, and I'm also donating my body, after they've taken all the useful bits out, to science. This probably means my final resting place is some med student's study table. And after that the proper waste disposal method.

I would like to give blood as I am AB-, which is very rare. But I have suffered with an sevre eating disorder since I was 15 so my organs and blood are in no fit state really. Thay have trouble keeping me going as it is :/ I gave blood to my step-dad when he was in a motorbike accident though, I was the only one there witht he same blood group at the time.
When Im dead, have pretty much anything. So long as I look normal ont he outside.

I donate blood occasionally and I intend to keep doing so. However, not so keen on donating my marrow, can't see anyone needing my marrow especially, but if asked to donate it to someone, I might consider it. If the persons death would be worth postponing.

Organ donation is something I'm not really comfortable, mainly because I like my precious organs. I need them to live, but if needed doctor's can take them out of my cold dead body and give them to someone else. Recycle what can be recycled and burn the rest. I don't need any after I'm dead.

Finnish law was changed few months ago. Previously we had those donor cards too, but now everyone is a donor, unless they deny this. If the world would be a just place, people who opt-out donating their organs, shouldn't get any organs either.

I know I'm being a dick but no, and I don't want to.

It seems very strange and bizarre.

I've donated blood and plan t o donate marrow depending opn which process i would have to undergo. All my organs are to be donated except my skin and my eyes just because that weirds me out for some reason.

I will donate my organs when/if I die (it's my goal in life to not die) because I want my body to be cremated, sent into the sun or resurrected as a horrible, skinless zombie.

Unfortunately I can't donate blood because of living in Germany for awhile, but I'll happily let them take whatever they need when I'm dead.

Like a few of you, I can't due to legislative reasons--that whole Creutzfeldt-Jakob scare stopped Canada allowing blood donations from anyone spending more than 6 months in Europe post 1980. Rough times.
