Hello Escapers, I was mostly curious what everyone's blood-type is.

Also, I'm really curious about whatever system is used to determine personality based around blood type. My mother lived in Japan for several years before moving to america and I was born, and she was telling me about how some companies she worked for hire based on this system.

I'm not entirely sure I believe her, it feels like hiring based on your zodiac sign, but what're your thoughts?

I'm (AB+) by the way. ^_^

Edit: if you don't know your blood type, just say so, I ran out of poll slots =/

Edit part 2: it only says WHAT on top of the poll, but it should be asking what's your blood type o_O

I've been told I'm likely to be A+, although I believe I'm O, personally.

I know A is far more common, but there is a possibility that I am O, and it would fit me more according to those "eating for your blood type" books, which state that O's need lots of red meat, which I really like.

I should really get tested some time.

I'm pretty sure that I'm O+ but I'm not positive (pun intended) And I know that my sister's O-.

Sorry, don't know my blood type, but I have this to share:

Is an emo hemomancer, and his joke is this:

"Go ahead, be negative, you'll be just my type."

...Sorry, just felt like sharing that, maybe it'll make someone laugh.

A, ccddee (that means rhesus negative), Kell negative

aunty Edith says: i've heard that the Japanese associate character traits with the blood type; anyone around knows what's what? (yes i've heard about google, but such a question supports communication here ^^ )

I have no idea. Japan really is pretty crazy for that shit though.

Which is funny, because they are a bit like zodiac signs. Intentionally written vaguely so that they can apply to anyone.
Basically, the whole "judging based on blood type" thing is just an excuse to discriminate. People really fucking dig discriminating.
We'd pull some similar bullshit over here if we could get away with it.

I'm pretty sure that I'm A+, at least that's what my test in Biology said last year. We couldn't exactly discern if the B protein was actually reacting or if my higher-than-natural blood clotting factor was kicking in.

Lots of people mixing up the blood types here. Rather amazed actually.

Not that I think they are wrong about their type, but the traits - most common, universal donor, etc.

AB "The Universal Receiver. Means I can accept all other blood types if I need a transfusion. Makes potential operations easier I guess

I have no idea what my blood type is. I have never had the opportunity to have it tested. It would certainly be interesting to see, though.
