None unless it provides me with some large physical benefit. Let say I could get a cyborg arm with double the strength of a human arm and the same level of dexterity, I'd do it in a second. However, that is currently impossible, so screw it.

It's to be expected. I rather want an extreme mod, but I don't even have a single piercing or tattoo. Skipping levels is fine.

wtf. i was supportive and encouraging but i'm not part of the body mod community.

imo plastic surgery and bone reshaping are way more extreme than tongue splitting. but again, i'd get a more reversible mod first and see how it affects your life.

Tattoos I'm fine with piercings I'm ok apart from facial and genital ones, they just seem a bit silly, anything beyond that and you're trying too hard. Scarification though I usually just lump in with tattoos so I wouldn't have placed it as high as you did.

I already have my ears pierced and I am currently saving money to get a small tattoo on my shoulder. This is where I draw the line though.

Plus, I do not like piercings on men. I like tattoos on a man, but piercings are a big turn off for me.

I got to thinking, "I wonder how tolerant the readers are of body mods." I want to know your limits. I'm scaling a poll at levels 1 (no modification of any kind) to 8 (highest the poll will go) (reptile man, [http://www.funnychill.com/files/weird-pictures/reptile-man.jpg] tiger girl, etc).

Lets keep things civil. Your idea of what is reasonable for body mods may be crazy in the eyes of others, or tame by comparison. There are bound to be a few people that disagree. Lets keep a http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.127981]civil tongue.

*note about the poll; the poll is just to demonstrate your limits. Where you draw the line. It's staged in complexity from simple nothing mods. I'll add to the existing levels if I get suggestions.

You don't have a choice for "Ears pierced with lots and lots of heavy tattoos all over my body". That would be my choice. I am not into facial piercing as I just don't care for it. I used to have my nipples pierced twice in each one but I got tired of trying to keep them clean. It was a pain in my ass. So I took them out. And I just have no desire to get my penis spiked. I imagine it would also be a pain to keep clean and maintained.

I don't have all the tats I want, YET. Just give me time and cash. Eventually all of my back, most of my arms, parts my legs and parts of my waist will be covered in ink.

I am also up for getting plastic surgery if needed. I m not getting "old people saggy face" if I can help it. It is just gross and if I have money it will not be my face. I have no other use for any other kind of surgery besides that. Fat loss can come through working out so I am good on that. I like my face as it is now so no worries there.

I am also up for full cybernetics too. Cybernetics are coming along nicely as a technology. If I have the loot for them I will get modified in many ways in the future. Cybernetics will KICK ASS.

As for other people, it is all on them. Nothing bothers me when I see it. I used to hang in the heavy fetish/goth/industrial scene in San Fransisco. Nothing on Earth can shock me now. Just go to Bondage A Go Go and a few Lords of Acid shows and you will see it ALL.

Otherwise, I'm level 3. A few piercings and tattoos don't bother me, otherwise why mess up the things nature gave ya.
