I don't do anything like that to myself and I don't plan to. I do however tolerate a lot. The people who literally cover their faces in piercings do have me cringing or looking away in disgust. It's not because I have anything against it, but it's a bit like watching a retard eating, they're welcome to do it, but I can't look at it and feel good.

Tattoos are higher on that ranking than piercings? While I wouldn't go for a piercing, a tattoo isn't completely out of the question. I doubt I'll ever get one though, I don't really care about them.

I'm a 1 right now until I feel the need to get a tattoo. That's gonna be rare, though.

Originally, I thought this was about body mods in games like Fallout 3 or Oblivion. Silly me.
Exactly what I thought...

But for me? As long as you don't get any gauges its cool :)
Silly gamers, thinking about gaming mods. ;) But now you are both educated. Body mods, much like the word "Mod" implies, is a modification of the body. ;)

i would have one up higher, but genital peircing, ouch.
Plus it isn't attractive at all.
That sounds like a personal opinion, to me. Lets not get judgmental over something that's just your opinion.

Level 2, only if it involves the regular ear piercings girls get.

Otherwise, it's level one.

Though...I do find bellybutton piercings sexy...

Mods always seem to be more overt among artists. :) I wonder if there's any correlation with their profession and their art (VS society as a whole).
I think it depends on the artist's personal view. If it's say, a very conservative artist who paints portraits and portraits alone, you may find yourself with someone horrified by the thought of doing stuff to their bodies.
Completely agree. :) But my point was that among artists, mods seem to be more prominent. They don't need to remove all 50 facial piercings go to to work at the office, for example. ;)

Righty dokey.

Hm, in reference to the cybernetic option people have created I might make an exception. JC Denton was never disapproved of after all (or Gunther Hermann for that matter, and he went the distance).

I'm probably gonna get a tattoo or two at some point. But no piercings or anything that actually changes my physiology, such as moulding/surgery.

I ticked level 5, I already have 6 tattoos and am planning on getting at least 8 more. I do not want piercings of any kind, ever, and unless I have some kind of accident I won't be getting plastic surgery.

Also, I think tattoos that you can't hide (your hands, face or neck) to be over the top, and I can't imagine showing up to, say my mother's funeral, f.e.x, with "F-U-C-K O-F-F-!" on my knuckles or something along those lines. I like being able to "dress my tattoos off".

In considering potential partners, I'd say level 7, although this bone reshaping you speak of sounds bad.

I wouldn't get a piercing, but a tattoo or two might be okay. (If I had any pain tolerance, that is.) So I'm lower than lvl 2 but higher than lvl 3. (What?)

Level 4 myself at the moment, but I'd go up to level 5.

Any level on other people though. Seeing a split tongue might make me cringe, but as long as you don't shove it in my face, I don't really care what you do with your body.

I'm tempted to jump straight to level 3. I always wanted a tattoo. Leaving some life motto on my body or make me remember something important I should never forget.

I'm trying to lose the weight by diet and exercices. Besides, I don't have the money for that anyway.

However, I'm wondering about stopping hair loss.
