I do a lot of reading...
Mostly sci-fi books I pick up, most of which are W40K or Robert Heinlein, but I do occasionally branch out.
I just purchased the first book of the 'His Dark Materials'... trilogy?
Anyway, haven't opened it yet, I am reading Animal Farm, just a few pages left now, then I can move onto the new book. :D

I don't read as much as I used to. There's a pesky thing called life that just eats up all my time like a bulimic yoshi. But yeah, I read, just not like I used to. My reading consists mostly of biographies and Stephen King novels. Oh, and I worship the ground that George R.R. Martin walks on. Why do the best authors all have the worst cases of chronic publication delay?

I use to tear through a book a week, but now that I have wi-fi and my Ps3 isn't chained to the ethernet cord, thus resulting in my Ps3 being brought to my room, I find myself reading a lot less.

I read any time I can. I usually carry smaller books around with me (currently Fahrenheit 451) so I can read a bit between classes. I'll usually read for about two hours each night before I go to sleep too.

As for content, I try to read from all genres, but nonfiction never really draws me in.

Just finished The Great Gatsby, and then next I'm gonna start Interview With The Vampire for I think the third time.
It's really good once you get into it.
I know. I've already read it twice. LOL
Woops, I completely misread your last post. Lol, oh well.

I try to read at least 30-40 a year, thanks to the library makes it easy. Range form classics to humour to fantasy to non-fiction and all sorts in between.

Books?! Hell yes! If for no other reason, nearly 30 years of D&D means I have to be a book-reader of some sort or I'd never play the game (well, I guess I could play and just have someone make my characters for me. Bah!)

I've tried finding some love for e-book readers like Kindle or Nook but I like the look, feel, even the smell of an actual book. I can't argue the amazing portability of electronically formatted books but I'd rather feel the paper pages turning under my fingers than the cold, lifeless plastic shell of an e-reader.

I've been reading a lot more as of late (lengthy commuter bus rides to and from work are perfect reading times), trying to read at least 2 books a month. I generally stick to sci-fi/fantasy, it's what I know and like. You can see my reading travels on my Shelfari page: http://www.shelfari.com/ChrisShadowens

I could very well spend the entire day in the library if I could. I literally just pulled an all-nighter to which I devoted 99.9% of that reading Devil Bones by Cathy Reichs.

I don't read as much as I used to, I just haven't found any books that have really caught my attention. Although I read the Daemon books, those were quite good. Although I was kind of angry that I read them so fast, because now I have nothing else to read. But if you have never read them and enjoy video games/cop mysteries/thrillers and or terminator, check them out.

I buy about 7-10 books every two months. At least that's my new policy. At the moment I am reading On the Road and The Fountainhead, both of which are excellent thus far. I have Ubik and Flow my Tears the Policeman Said by Philip K Dick lined up as well as Don Quixote.

Reading = Happy times

I've started on Albert Camus, the existentialist. I hope it's intersting. Anyone else read his stuff?
I have read The Myth of Sisyphus. It was excellent.

I've been reading the Halo novels by Eric Nylund and Orson Scott Card's Ender books. Also, I read Outsiders for school. To get these bloody AR points for school *basicly books are leveled then you take quizes on them for points* I've been reading Artemis Fowl not bad so far. Planning on reading Percy Jackson because it seems interesting enough.

Generally I read a lot. Novels and Comics.

That being said I haven't read anything since I read the Road a couple of months ago.

I'd rather read that watch TV. I think I watch a total of 2-3 hours of TV a week at the most. My favorite fiction genre is fantasy/sci-fi. My favorite non-fiction is theology.
