I love the idea of a cell shaded funny/violent/loot-based/ FPSRPG, but I still can't get over Borderlands. Can't get over how my mates still laugh at me thinking we could all have fun playing it and I can't get over how I managed to play through that boring mess of a game. I like games that give out cinematic sequences and good endings as rewards almost as much as I like fun, engaging gameplay, and I got neither from Borderlands.

Playing it with others made it just a little bit so. Not enough to remember it fondly and be excited about a sequel.

I for one loved the claptraps and can't wait to see more of them.
Side note: Apparently 'Claptrap' is a legitimate word; it has no red correction line under it. Huh.

I wont hold my breathe. The first one was just to dull and repetitive for me. Hopefully this one is not. If it is then I dont really care. Claptrap was just fucking annoying and how can anyone find it funny.

Looks great. In all the important ways, the same as the first but with new classes, more skills, more enimies, more variation in environemnts and more guns! Glad it isn't out until after the summer though.

I nerdgasmed when I saw this trailer yesterday, Borderlands was (and is) such a fun game, i cant wait to go back to Pandora again. (Mainly to kill midgets, find awesome guns, and piss off my friends - Not necessarily in that order)

Definetly excited. Also, dubstep is supposed to play a major part of the action music. Now, i normally dont like dubstep, so much WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB DROP WUB WUB that i can take before retreating to a keats novel and a whisky tea. But, for combat, this kind of derranged bass abusse is pretty awesome. I mean, the Farcry 3 trailer presents this better than i can. over the top LSD withdrawl music is suitably hectic and unpredictable as warfare should be. Especially for the 60 round clip shotgun they showed in the trailer

And agreed. ClapTrap humour isnt great. i would love to see the world from their perspective, but my head cannot fit up my arse quite so far.
