It's Win in Co-op, slightly less win in single player.
So yes in co-op, yes in Single Player, basically.

I hope you refer to co-op as in: playing with friends you can trust. Because my online experiences in this game were a disaster. Loot hogging, high level characters entering just to grief you and duel and people being anywhere but where they were supposed to go.

I have yet to find anyone worthwile to play this game online with. Solo play has been good enough for me.

Yeah, that's what I meant.
I haven't gone on LIVE as I don't have it yet but I'll only be playing borderlands with guys I know.

It's nothing special. On my scale it's fail, but on the internet scale it's between win and pure win (becouse i wouldn't do it better), so choose yourself.

Co-op with friends: total fucking WIN on every account. Single player less so, but still really good fun. A nice, violent, light-hearted game and a nice counter-balance to the serious FPS games that have been around recently.

PS - the DLC is bloody brilliant, possibly better than the main game.

I really love this game. However, it's only really good if you have friends playing with you. Don't get me wrong, single player is fine, but co-op is a million times better. Loot hunting is a lot of fun.

Pretty shitty ending. When people were complaining about it, I was like: "aww it can't be that bad" .. but yeah, it actually is.

Overall, I recommend you get it.

More characters and more vehicles, and I'd be set.

fails at story since the different characters just give different ways to kill
wins at battle and loot because each character has it's own weakness and strengths.

one character is great with SMG but suck at everything else, another is great with revolvers , another is great with the nearly useless assault rifles and one is great with sniper rifles/pistols. This brings re-playability ... and then knowing that you will never see all the possible weapons in the game...
