Does look like heaps of fun.
Very similar to Fallout 3 and Rage. At least superficially.
Wait... have found the new WWII shooter?

The king is dead, long live the king!

I heard nothing about it until now. After that trailer, I will have to say "Hell Yes!"
I don't know if it will be a Fallout clone, but then again, maybe it is free roam and I just don't know. It seems fun even if it ends up being fairly linear.
I'm pretty sure it's at least partially free roaming. Most of the missions are randomly generated, like the guns.

"87 Bazillion Guns!"

Between WET and this (and kinda Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. You laughed, admit it!), what is it with game adverts suddenly becoming really, really good? A decent mix of style and substance, humour and ultraviolence.

Looks kinda hokey at times and some of the text screens were cheezy as hell, but yes, I'd play it.

Yep seems far more Diablo 2 than Fallout in both gameplay and visual direction far more action than dialogue trees I don't see any valid comparison.
Otherwise this is my game of the year since bioshock 2 got bumped into 2010

This looks awesome.

And 4 player co-op?

Yeeees.
Wait wait wait. 4 player co-op, seriously? Man, now me and my roommate can actually use the 360 for something besides Gears 2 (I'm poor and so have a very small game library).

Edit: Wow, i just realized that 4 player co-op doesn't mean split-screen, per se. I really hope it's at least 2 player split. That would be terrific.

Post-apocolyptic landscapes definately seem to be the new 'in' setting for a game these days.

It does look good though, may have to pick it up shortly after release.

im really likin the art style like i mean gameplay is a huge part of any game but how it looks does really make it too, it went a good direction from the first couple screen shots also the gun play looks fun

The only thing that I am concerned about is the amount of enemy types within the game. I am very much so looking forward to this game, I am pre-ordering it, going to pick it up the day of release, and am going to play it until my eyes begin to bleed due to the more uncommon art style. I am hoping that this game is not going to disappoint.

I'm not excited about it. And I don't know why, because I think I should be... it looks pretty good, and it looks similar to Fallout 3 (which I love).

The art style is wonderful.
I'm glad this took on a more comical approach. Far too many games these days are serious and gritty.

That actually makes me curious, where did you hear that the missions were randomly generated?
Also, as much as this may be accused of being a Fallout 3 clone, in one of Randy's interviews he states that there are differing environments, and his example of this was that towards the end of the game main story wise, you are up in snowy mountains, which to me is as much of a difference as I need. Perhaps there will be some jungle forests as well, well, minus the wooded trees or something.

Gotta say the early trailer I saw for this looked awful (though it was the usual pre-rendered garbage). Glad to see the gameplay looks a lot more fun and colourful.

This definitely looks like fun. It's nice to see a game not taking things too seriously these days.

The sense of humour in this trailer has gone some way to persuading me.

Edit: Also, must say I'm sold on the little robot from 1:00 to 1:05 too! :)

This is a gameplay trailer for Borderlands which I found and, honestly, I freaking love it. The art style looky amazing, bright and vibrant, especially when compared to 'next-gen' graphics. The gameplay looks like great fun, the music perfectly fits the trailer...personally, this has got me even more psyched for the game when it comes out.

So what do you think about the game? Will you get it when it comes out? Do you like the trailer, and the art style? Post your views!
did my boxart thread inspire this? if so thats mad, this game looks like its going to be awesome!!!!
