"The propose of this boycott is to show Capcom that they can't do this especially in this age of modded consoles and torrents."
I changed that a bit. This really is unacceptable, and I guess they're going to still charge people for DLC fighters beyond that. Wow. When piracy is so easy, these big companies are doing their damnedest to piss of their remaining paying customers.
I wasn't going to get it either, but trying to punish a company for such a poor business decision is the kind of boycott that IS acceptable (As discussed in the Jimquisition)
There's no way a PC developer would get away with releasing a game, then a little while later release it again with bug fixes and gameplay tweaks with a few digital items for full price. No way.

When you add a small amount of content and tweak gameplay so it plays better for a game that's already released, it's called a "patch" and you don't charge for it. At the very MOST, the new fighters should have been DLC and the tweaks and modes should have been a downloadable patch.Just_A_Glitch said:And I hate how upset people are getting about this. Allow me to copy/paste a comment of mine from a past thread:
"The game is coming out at $40. It comes with 12 new characters, and a lot of tweaked/updated features."
