Often I find myself forgetting something very simple, only to remember it later. Does this often happen to you? It seems to frequently happen with words, songs, stories and names, just to name a few. I wonder why- wait, what was i talking about again?
Ah, screw it.

Ah, I get those sometimes.
It's really frustrating if you want to tell someone something, they interrupt you, then you forget what you were going to say.

I forget why I live sometimes... I'm not emo... Honest.

Anyway, I forget some of my friends' names sometimes. Probably because I have a pitifully small amount of them that I truly like and the rest are people I hang around with for reasons I can't remember.

See the irony?

Going along with that, when I finally do remember its almost like whatever it was I couldn't remember was suddenly launched to the front of my mind on a rocket and has bright neon lights around it so I can't miss it and makes me think "It's so obviouis why couldn't I remember that before?"

Why yes, yes I do. It's rather annoying, mostly it's passwords and things like that.

Always.

It's not that I forget things like names or anything. It's that I just do stupid things.

For example, having a glass of milk, and putting the milk back in the cupboard then, when mum asks me what happened to the milk, presuming, like she did, that I had drunk the last of it. Until my sister goes into the cupboard to get something, and discovers the milk the next morning!

Any many, many other things that I have forgotten that I shouldn't have.

Yes, and I'm still a smartass. Imagine if I were clear-headed...

Sometimes. It doesn't happen often, fortunately, but when it does it tends to be fairly spectacular.

Probably the best example of one of my spectacular brain lapses was when I forgot one of my friends' first name for an hour and a half. For some reason I decided his name was Chris, and only remembered what his name actually was much later. A little embarassing, but very, very funny nonetheless.

Yes, in fatc just now I read that as Brian Lapses: Do you hate them often?.

Epic brain fail. Also this morning I couldn't find my wallet, it was in my crash helmet, which was in my hand...

With W's, alot. I usually need to stop for a minute, and say it a few times again and again to finish the sentence. Tourettes sucks -_-

I remember one of mine distinctly, a bit ironic really:

Me: 'Mum, can you pass me a... thing... erm...'

Mum: 'What?'

Me: 'That... food... digging thing...'

Mum: 'A spoon?'

Me: '*embarrassed*

Damn, the same thing happened to me. The name really needs to be changed to food digger, doesn't it?
