I don't, and even though my boyfriend does it, I still think it's insanely stupid to do so.
Now you need to go buy a new controller, and what if you couldn't wait to smash it before you quit the game? now you can't save because your controller is gone. Good job.

It was an accident, moron.
Personal insult, reported again. Your not helping your case.
why the hell would you report a thread two seconds on the board for having one option and no text when it's OBVIOUSLY a mistake? Also, I'll have you know I hit the Edit button immediately to fix it.

I've never intentionally broken a controller for any console. I have, however broken a headset, but I didn't quite realize that tossing it to the ground would make it fall apart (and by toss I don't mean hurl - I just tossed it across the room after disconnecting it and the speaker housing parted in the process)

You can only report someone once. It doesn't matter after that first report.
Also, if this was a "(no text)" thing, you should've just waited. It's only polite.
Agree with Max, you're being a NARC.

Definitely should have had an option for 'used to'. I never actually broke a controller but I did damage them when I was a kid. On my NES I used to bite the controller and the cords as hard as I could. But I knew not to bite into the wires, just the housing, so I never got zapped or broke the controllers and its amazing what electrical tape can fix.

Because people can be asses at times.

But anyway, cant say I've ever broken a controller. Even my old Snes ones still work. Not sure if its something to be proud of but sod it I am!

I bet you that it will be 100% for yes.
94% no when i voted, nice try buddy.

i haven't broken any of my controllers. if a game is annoying me i turn it off. saves on having to buy a new controller.

I accidentally posted a half finished topic by pressing Enter in the wrong spot.

I did a couple times before...and one of those I did because I accidently stepped on it while walking through my apartment...my brother meanwhile is the exact opposite and is notorious for tossing controllers when a game scorns him.
