Bah, anything involving Sacha Baron Cohen is a waste of money and time.
Ever seen Ali G?
If not, I seriously recommend it.
Yes, I just don't think he is funny in a single way. Just my view I guess.
How so? Elaborate please.
I can't really. None of his movies/shows strike any amount of humour in me at all. I just think their absolutely stupid and completely un-funny.

Bruno is not good, Bruno is shock-jock comedy, Baron Cohen berates people and his audience with depravity until they are so uncomfortable that they have to laugh to get past their feelings. Baron Cohen can be funny and I did laugh at both Bruno and Borat, but you can only watch it once. I prefer subtle comedy, not lowest common denominator stuff, but i'm not about laughing at.

I'd say he's funny, but only because the things he does are so mind-bogglingly stupid. I think thats the reason jackass was so popular.

Urrrrgh... He struck me as a six year old who found out that the word "fuck" gets a reaction, so he runs around yelling it to see who reacts the most. I shake my head and walk away from the kid, and thus, the movie.

I got tired of Baron Cohen's act a long time ago. It's a one-note song and it reminds me of the wannabe-comedian in any office who, if you don't laugh at his dumb joke the first time, he keeps telling it until either you give him a courtesy laugh or you kick his ass.

I liked Borat, but I think that's more because I hadn't lost my taste for stupid, lowbrow humor when that movie came out. I like my comedy more intelligent than what Sacha Baron Cohen offers.

Not even the Ali-G show? not the movie, but his TV show on HBO, I thought it was funny as hell until he moved on to borat.

I completely ignored this stupid movie like I did Borat and saw "I Love You Beth Cooper" instead, witch was one of the funniest comedies i've seen sense "Forgetting Sarah Marshall."

Stupid is funny. Sometimes you have to know when to laugh at something not with it. Cohen has two distinct levels of humor, the base level which you clearly think is far below you, and the higher satirical level. Most people can relate to at least one of these. That is why it is successful.

Just saw I thought it was great. People say it is to hardcore in more then one way ,but comedy is all about the unexpected. So that deems it great in my book. What is your opionion? ( I Apoligize if I'm not the first to do this.)
I preferred the book more.

Shame, missing out on some extremely clever satire.
Clever satire? He runs around doing his darndest to make people uncomfortable. The only form of satire I can find in the movies is poking fun at values/things that make people uncomfortable. And since he fired for the lowest common denominator (NUDITY IS FUNNY), it's hard to take it seriously.

I would much have preferred it if he made parodies.

I honestly didn't think it was funny. Almost the only thing they were going for was shock humor, which isn't all that funny anyway.

I'm not just some homophobe, the movie was just boring.
