When you play games like Call of Duty or Battlefield or even Medal of Honor, do you prefer weapons with overwhelming force, or surgical precision?

We're assuming that Sniper rifles do not represent "Brute Force".

Surgical precision. I always think pray-and-spray is a waste of my ammo I worked hard to get.

I tend to be a bit more of a shock trooper/impromptu marksman. I don't spray and pray and I actually aim with my shots (I use assault rifles, generally. The only LMG I use is an AUG), but I also tend to just rush in headfirst. Sometimes I can be a bit sneakier.

Precision always.

that usually goes hand in hand with power though.

really depends on who I'm playing with, I think I can do both roles efficiently just really depends on what the team needs at the time

Lethal Efficiency. I want every shot to count in games like that. But if it's in Timespitters, give me the most devastating gun (not the Monkey Gun, I want something that feels powerful)

I prefer to use lethal efficiency.....which usually translates through brute force tactics.

Lethal Efficiency, Unless I'm on a time limit. If that's the case, then I go berserk.

Efficiency? Fuck that. Throw enough bullets towards the enemy and something's bound to fall over eventually.

Efficiency is the name of the game.

I usually only kill whoever gets in my way; letting those who are fortunate enough to be farther away live. After all, in a game like ArmA2, it pays to be unknown, unseen, and unheard. If they know you are there, they can call in reinforcements.

1-on-1: Efficiency. I take time and aim while they spray-and-pray. It's always funny to own a guy while he's reloading.

More than one opponent: Force. I'll aim in the general direction and launch explosives. Most of the time while running away. I usually get two kills before going down.

Single Player: Efficiency. There's a lot less threat in single player, so I can take my time and whittle down their numbers one bullet at a time... and it's soooooo satisfying.

I like guns that have enough accuracy to get the job done, but come with a "Ohfuckohfuckohfuck" option build it. The BAR from WaW is a good example. It's incredibly accurate and generally I just use it with one shot taps, but when needed, it's totally capable of up close rock and roll on full auto.

So I guess my answer is "a little of both."

In BC2 I usually try to be a sniper... and if that doesn't work I go Submachine Gun Medic

When I'm playing single player, I am sneaky and efficient.
But that goes out of the window with multiplayer. Its just more fun to run up to people on a killstreak and blow both of you up.

In this sort of game? Hmm. I think I always prefer accuracy, but in intense firefights in FPS games I'm sometimes tempted just to go for raw firepower.

Whenever i come... i COME HARD. Wait... that sounds...

Ok: No reason not to be very precise with heavy artillery, but yeah. I like explosions and also prefer to load the air with lead. (I am not adverse to sniping though).
