I would like to see more weapon variety though. I realize that barely any footage is out for this game so I can cut it some slack; but, unreal tournament was a major innovator when it was released because of the insane weapons and alt fires. Bulletstorm needs to at least match that.
I also hope this. I'm fed up of only being able to choose between 8 weapons.
Your sarcasm was unnecessary >_> I'm talking about weapon usage more than sheer number of weapons. For instance, unreal tournament's flak cannon could be used like a shotgun; but, if that's all you used it for, you would be missing the point entirely. Through its two firing modes, the weapon's usability increased immensely. Or take the shock rifle. If you used it as a hitscan sniper rifle, you'd be missing its point entirely. That's the kind of creativity in weaponry that is 1) missing in today's modern shooters and 2) necessary in bulletstorm for it to claim the throne of competitive fps gaming.
I actually wasn't being sarcastic.

Then I rescind my comment.

I am looking forward to this. It looks good, I like the character already, and I lost everything bad I can ever say about this game when I saw that you could Duke Nukem kick enemies.

Looked back at some of my GIs, and one of them had a Bulletstorm cover story.
There is no co-op. They decided to remove it to make it easier to take skill shots, and otherwise the story would change (at one point the other player would just be getting digested by a plant for 30 minutes)
Kind of a hero falls from grace story
Three main components Kick, Leash, and Slide
The kick is obvious, the leash is the big blue power whip thing, and the slide is when he slides on the ground.
Leads to combos (kick the guy away, slide to reach him, leash him into air, shoot)
Tougher enemies later in the game
You apparently get skill points to invest in the above three actions. Such as when the leash hit the ground and everyone shot into the air was the "thumper" upgrade.
Co-op may be changed (doubt it) and multiplayer is yet TBA.
Yay, more info!
