Apparently, some analyst thinks that it's a pretty good idea to have the creator of the Halo franchise to make the next Modern Warfare.

Personally, that's really fucking stupid. I mean, I like both games, but it would be a massive cluster-fuck if this happens.

jeez, people chill out, first off, im sure bungie would do fine, it'd be an average game, not a HORRIBLE one like some of you are making it out to be, but more or less its probably better bungie did not make it, they have a good thing going and i dont think trying to redeem modern warfare is a good thing for them to try and do, obviously by the comments posted here people would infinitely flame about how bad it is/is going to be

Halo isn't really a FPS series, it has a RTS too.

I just hope that they will just drop the Modern Warfare thing and go Vietnam and Korean war.

The problem I see is that Halo is more of that shooter where people just play it because its fun, not because its a challenge, Modern Warfare is one of those shooters where it is a challenge.

And so many people say "CoD should just die already". Think about it, we've done the WW2 games to hell, no-one cares about WW1, the futuristic shooters have been covered, what other setting is there?

Vietnam? cause that's being covered in the next CoD.

EDIT: maybe a sort of near-future, where a crazy superpower (North korea) decides to clusterfuck everyone...
