i pre-ordered back when you first could and am picking it up at midnight.....and its the legendary edition.
Not getting it. Honestly, I'm just not interested. I played the beta but wasn't "wowed" like others were. I'll likely borrow it from a friend to play the campaign. After which, I'll return it her. (and really hoping to not be as disappointed as I was with the campaigns in 2 and 3)
And, before anyone tells me, "But there's so much to do in multiplayer!", I'll say this. I've never been THAT fond of the Halo multiplayer. I had fun with Halo: CE at LANs and what-not, but beyond that I've never found them to be that much fun. In short bursts maybe, but not beyond that.
As for Forge? I have Garry's Mod with gigs of extra content. Maps, SWEPs, mods, scripts, etc, etc. So....yeah...
There's the "I'm practically giddy with excitement for this game therefore everyone else must be." people or the "I hate Halo and think anyone that's getting it is stupid." people. You and I are in the very, VERY small groups of people who think either, "It looks fun but I'm in no hurry to buy." or "It looks okay, but I'm not really that interested."

I'm just going to pick it up tomorrow. I already Pre-Ordered it but I am not going to the midnight release. It is madhouse at the midnight release and I would get tired. I'll just go to sleep and pick it up tomorrow.

Never been much of a Halo fan; The multiplayer is frustrating to me and the single player of the last game (3) bored me to tears. And thats saying something because it was my first 360 game.
But god damn, Forge has sold it to me.
Currently I am deciding on whether to save my money for Black Ops or hope that I will some how make more money in the future.
And the DRM rifle looks like a good bit of fun. That is all.

Haha, I'm the only person who wil buy it late, apparently. I'm pretty strapped for cash, so I'm going to wait for the first price drop, then snatch it up. Sometime after Christmas, I suppose. Or, maybe I'll just get it FOR Christmas. Who knows.
Buying the first copy I can get my hands. I'm hopping to beat the mass of kids from my school. Leaving the second my brother can drive me over to whatever game store isn't sold out. If I'm really lucky I'll beat the majority of the crowd and manage to snag a copy.
I preordered Legendary back in April and I'm in line at the midnight now waiting for it. Been here for two hours and another two to go. They have a giant screen set up with Reach on it.

I'm seriously hoping to get it, but I'm tight on money at the moment, so I'll probably rent it from Hastings, or Blockbuster, and then later from GameFly after I get Borderlands, and use coupons, member discount, and used price to get it cheap.
