What do you have against Command & Conquer 3 Red Alert??? It had some brilliant actors in it but that wasn't the only reason I enjoyed it.
I played it for the ladies... Simple as that!
Granted the controls and the AI where a pile of garbage but the videosequence where the best I remember thus far.

Bioware doing a Command and Conquer game...

Uh...I don't know if Bioware can do something THAT cheezy and make it funny. They're more straight laced when it comes to their stories.

Hey, I said straight laced, not reasonable.

Would be fun to see C&C: Mass Effect though... Something decent in the RTS genre for Mass Effect would be stimulating...a 4X would be too much to ask for, but then Paradox Interactive has a different stable of games going, and they're the only ones I'd trust with it. Them or Quicksilver interactive and Atari...but MOO3 is long in the past sadly.

And just to say, it, Bioware needs to give Activision a licence to make a damn Total War: Dragon Age game. There, I'm done dreaming.

I'd like to see a continuation of the C&C: Generals series, but it will more than likely be a Mercs game. The original was a surprisingly awesome game with alot of heft to it. The sequel just didn't have that same feel and fell more than a bit short of my expectations. It will be interesting to see if this pans out.

I'll take either one, but if I had to choose, I would take a Mercs game.

Give me a combination of 2. A good RTS where I can jump in to some 3rd person action fun.
DO it know.

I want it to be Mercenaries but it will most likely be Alpha Protocol 2. Y'know, Bioware's modern day espionage RPG set in da REAL TIMEZ!1! Aplha Protocol 2 is probably the best bet and I'm surprised I'm the only one who has made this connection.
I can't tell if you are joking or not.

Mercs, because I never liked the C&C series, ever.
Ooh, I should have voted for neither.

Command and Conquer proper is lightly campy yet still somewhat serious in its tone. The world is engulfed in an unstoppable alien crystal!

I'm not sure why people think the entire series is "comedic". Perhaps it's just the backlash for when EA sandusky'd the franchise; C&C fans are trying to forget that iteration and universe.

Red Alert is just a franchise that had a slightly more lighthearted tone in its first iteration, established an identity in its second, and got dialed to idiotically absurd in the third. Red Alert 2 was beloved in that it was silly with attack dolphins and mind control and mirage tanks, but it was still played straight; that's what made it great. Red Alert 3 totally missed the point and went for the LULZcrazy fanservice gimmick with transforming mechs, schoolgirls, Mt.Rushmore lasers, and APCs that shoot guys out of a cannon; it stopped being silly and just became stupid. YMMV.

Either way, C&C Renegade was actually a rather well-liked game back in its day and there are even mods that try to resurrect the gameplay from Renegade. It was campy in that everything was played straight. I could imagine EA giving Bioware control of the story and having an excuse to plug in multiplayer.
Plus, Bioware once took the Star Wars license and made KOTOR out of it in the "silver age" of Star Wars games before all this Force Unleashed and TOR garbage. They can make a great game out of C&C.

It doesn't look like, if it's Command and Conquer, it's a Red Alert game, so there's no Peter Stormare.

If it's Mercenaries, it will have Peter Stormare.

Mercenaries wins my vote via the Stormare Metric.

I quite enjoyed Mercenaries, but I stupidly love the C&C franchise. The criminal treatment C&C received is right on par with perversion that we now call Age of Empires III, published by Microsoft.

If Bioware make a Mercenaries game then they'll probably put a romance option between Mattias and Fiona or something like that.
There'll probably be a romance option between Fiona and everyone else.

The first Mercenaries was my favorite game of all time. Seriously. This series needs more love.
A shame the sequel sucked... the first Mercenaries kept me entertained for a long time.

For some reason, Mercenaries 2 fell flat- it added so much more, yet the experience felt so... meh.

That being said, another Mercenaries title would be cool! :D

I'd vote for Mercenaries, simply because the first is in my all-time top 5, and apart from the stellar The Saboteur, nothing else really even comes close.

But it better not have multiplayer. If it has multiplayer then it can just shove right off.

Whatever, just wash your hands.
I'm going to go with mercenaries since I don't think ea could do a good rts nowadays to save its life.

Red Alert is too campy to make into something with a decent storyline. Then again, if anyone can pull it off, it's Bioware or Valve.
I hear ya. Valve needs to give the old Westwood guys a job, and make RA4. *dreams*

OT: I'm fairly certain that Bioware aren't working on an RTS game, so that pretty much leaves Command & Conquer out.

They could do something like Renegade, but that's unlikely, as C&C is not the name it once was, and EA aren't going to resurrect the series out of charity. No, they'll do it to squeeze the last drop from what was once a very profitable series, while creatively plunging it further into the grave.

Anyone else still want to see a C&C game published by EA?

Reboots are all the rage nowadays.

At best, EA has shown with Tiberium that it's willing to go the Renegade route and with C&C4 it's willing to do something completely different than normal C&C. Throwing the project to the Bioware guys pretty much means instant sales after the Mass Effect craze settles.

Hell, Bioware even made a Sonic the Hedgehog game and that series is nothing but a joke nowadays. They can do a C&C game. The C&C series may not be the name it once was, but it still has a recognizable universe with a unique theme - Tiberium.

So long as it's not EA alone. Bioware is the last studio left in EA that actually makes likable games. Maxis and Westwood were stripped down to their skivvies and forcefully violated.

CnC all the way. Mercenaries 1 was fun, but nothing special. Mercenaries 2 was a complete shitbag.

CnC has always been good, apart from the 3 latest instalments (3, 4 and RA3).

I would LOVE to see a 3DS remake of the original CnC Gold or Red Alert: Retaliation. I'd also love to see a sequel to Generals, the underdog of the franchise.
Great, why do you feel your entire post needs to be bold?
