I tried it and wasn't getting many kills from it. I get way more cheap kills from Last Stand!Pandalisk said:

Personally,i enjoy using the M16 alot,despite it's partial sucky-ness.
Don't get me wrong,it's an average gun. But you'd be better off with an M4,RPD or AK if you just want to be stupidly hard to beat.
For me it's all about the skill,automatic guns you don't even need to use the irons for are downright stupidly good. Or the G3 with a speed click script/mouse wheel.
I just happen to shoot really well. and the M16 puts rounds where you point,so i find long range with it rather enjoyable.
Though i find the delay after a burst just lame. the real steel doesn't do that. So why make the game do that? if it's too powerful then weaken the damage IMO. don't go do things like tweak other dynamics.

It ALWAYS gets me. I'm busy happy in my little head that I finally got a kill, then BOOM... I can almost hear him sniggering in 1s and 0s...Pandalisk said:
I finally got my first 55, and while this might look like I suck, I just don't play CoD4 much. So when it comes down to things to do, I had a choice. Prestige myself for a funny looking rank picture, or complete every challenge for new Gun skins and attachments. Needless to say I went for the attachments.

I used to be excellent with it, but my time with better weapons like the G36c and the M4, I've lost touch. It's hard to not want to go into Ironsights/RedDot when you see an enemy at close range, because doing that is just suicidal, and your only chance is Spray and Pray firing from the hip, it helps if you have Steady Aim, but I prefer more manly uses for that. Like Last Stand, Deeper Penetration or Iron Lungs, and at Long Range, if I so much as miss my Third Bullet, I'm a dead man. No matter if my enemy is standing still, the thing is impossible to get a headshot with because of the Recoil. I've seen so many people AFC, and gone for a headshot, only for the 2nd bullet to stray with Recoil, hit them in the chest and count it as a body kill.
Needless to say, it's going to be a long process for Red Tiger Stripes.
