3) overpowered weapons, I used to get pissed at the use of snipers in Halo and Unreal Tournament due to their semi-one hit kill ability, long range and excessive use but CoD takes this to the next level by allowing anyone to start with the biggest, baddest sniper they can get their grubby hands on from the word go in every game (at least in Halo you had to race for the only rifle avalible). Since there are so many weapons avalible it is inevitable that some will be favored since they are more effective (see the M16 and MP5) and you will end up with a huge number of players using them exclusively, this not only defeats the point of giving you a selection in the first place but also means that anyone who tries to be unique and use a weapon the like the look or sound of will often meet with instant death, and a lot.
I personally like not having to shoot an enemy 40 times before they'll finally die (*cough* Halo *cough*). And being able to choose your weapons from the start makes it more equal than most other shooters, because instead of one person having the Energy Sword (figuratively speaking), everyone has the potential to spawn with it. Not to mention that the most powerful gun in the game (the M16) is the very first gun you get. Those that complain about overpowered sniper rifles, I can understand, but what you're probably thinking of are the weaker snipers with a fast firing rate (the green one you start with and the one immediately following, sorry I forget their names). I personally use the Barrett .50 because whether you notice or not, it's actually the hardest sniper rifle to use. On Classic mode, one shot won't kill just anyone, and you're forced to either headshot or deal with an insane amount of recoil before firing again.

Martyrdom.

No skill, at all.
^dies from Martyrdom. A lot.
I do, I love to play my quick class and I always wind up running over dropped grenades. The perk should be removed simply because the only skill it requires is your ability to be shot.
If you learn to laugh and it, it becomes much more bearable. Granted, I still hate dying from a pooped nade, especially when I run around a corner and it JUST so happens that my teammate killed a guy there about 4 seconds earlier (thus no indicator, just explosion), but it really can't be helped.

I just try to laugh off the stuff that's not your fault (spawning on a grenade, turning a corner just as the enemy opens fire on your teammate and you catch the bullet, etc.), and the game is much more enjoyable.

Yes and it drops off a random point on your body. And even though its only 1 inch difference as soon as you die you let the game play the game for you and at that is the point when it grows pointless i don't die by matrydom infact i love people who do it its a free grenade i can toss at the enemy but it PISSES me off when at least 2x a game one of my allies kills someone with matrydom and happen to fall in my walking path.

wheres like the aircraft option?

ie getting carpet bombed on spawn, raped by helicopter.

only other thing than aircraft that pisses me off is just grenade spam. x3 grenades, or grenade launcher + sonic boom is just to easy.

I think weapon wise nothing sticks out as really overpowered. I see all weapons getting used by rank 55's, even the starting pistol.

Call of duty 4 worked really well and there were hardly any complaints about the multiplayer, until treyarch came along and FU*K*D the system in the ass !!

is this for World at War or for COD4 or what?
COD4 had far less issues than WaW, which was a really really disappointing game.

Anyways, I picked the spawn system since CoD:WaW REALLY fucked it up. I mean it had some issues in 4, but it was still a great multiplayer experience. WaW just seems to spawn people all over the damn place.

I like Call of Duty 4 Multiplayer a lot, and the only thing I don't like about it is when people start yelling at me when I kick their asses. I'm not cheating; maybe you just suck.

For CoD:WaW, it has to be it's piss poor respawn system.

For CoD4:MW...uummmmm....I suck too much at it? IDK, I can't really think of a complaint about it.

kill cam? does that not annoy you at all?
I'm kind of confused as to why people are bothered by the killcam. Could someone please elaborate?
i use a sniper rifle, i don't like it that people can tell where i am whenever i make a kill, it ruins the point
It proves your skill if you can hold your spot and it prevents camping ^^^^^^^^ *ahem*

oh, but thats just it, i can hold my own, hell, i can hold off an entire team for a good 3 minutes if i need to, i'm just used to games without killcam

also, camping is fun, you should try! (and most snipers do tend to move btw, i do aswell, its just i like to make about 3 kills before having to move, good players will have seen you normally by then)

I have no complaints about anything from the COD series, except COD5, which was a huge disappointment to me. I was expecting a mix of the original COD and COD4 in it, but COD5 just did everything wrong. It was like the stupid ugly evil twin of COD4. Thanks for that, Treyarch.
I liked the first COD a lot, and wished so hard I could have played the 2nd one. I don't worry about missing the 3rd one though.
Also, when I read your inner-suppressed-fanboy poll list, my own suppressed-inner-COD4-fanboy/whore started acting up. It did make a decent point, so here is its rant.

"Your list is made up of common problems associated with online gaming in general. While you wouldn't be lying in saying COD4 may have some of these problems, it seems unfair to hit it with this list as if the game was ruined by these problems. Almost every other online game has the same problems, but they suffer at a much worse level than COD4 from them. COD4 is not perfect, and it is impossible for any such game to escape from such issues. But COD4 remains an awesome game because these problems barley ever affect the game bad enough. Its like WoW, not the best game ever, but a damn good and polished example of how to do it right.
Also, I love the knife system in COD4. Simple genius."

Maybe I'll post my full complaint about COD5, but my eyes are dim, and I'm about to fall asleep. Ugh, goodnight.
I just did call of duty because everyone knows it soo...shhh (vote and move on) lol damn discussioners...with your discussin and conversation-amadogies
Hey man, when you put more than two sentences of words below your polls, your just asking for discussion.

Spawning System comes to mind. I once died 3 times on Wetworks to the same Airstrike. I would have to say Overpowered Weapons though. M16 is far too cheap. I mean, at least in WaW, you have to work to unlock your StG44. The M16 is the first gun you get. Even without stopping power, one burst to the chest, stopping power or not, just utterly rapes you and your mom at the same time.

well i'd have to vote the spawning system, however the one thing i think is worse that is not on your list is the fact there is no country dedicated servers, that would make the connection speed so much better all around
How can any one vote for "Pros who rape the game and ruin it for everyone else" if you don't like pros raping it then just play more and get better so then you can become a "pro" then all of a sudden the shoes on the other foot
BTW: I'm not pro, I only 2nd or 3rd on average placings

you could just play on hardcore, then there would be no killcam

I concur. Plus, the servers are so retarded, they pick the people who have the worst connection. And half the time, the host quits because they suck, so everyone gets kicked. It's so tedious.

In terms of CoD 5 and CoD 4, I played CoD 5 for a while, then went back to CoD 4. CoD 5 just wasn't executed with the same elegance and balance as CoD 4 (in my opinion at least)...

Back on topic, I voted for the "Stupid Perks like the equivalent of Claymores or Martyrdom". None of the other stuff bothers me that much, because everything else can be countered fairly effectively by just switching to one of my other classes/changing how I'm going about playing in that particular server/level.
But those perks just... get to me. Clay's I'm usually ok with, unless I end up in one of those oh so familiar circumstances of "Oh, there's a clay in front of me, better back up and either shoot it or go around it-... oops, too late, it already got me". Then I just feel a bit silly for not having responded sooner. :p

o_O

It's most often the martyrdom for me. I've never used it myself, but everytime I get killed by it, I almost certainly feel a bit of rage shooting through my body.
It's just incredibly aggravating, having killed someone, then them killing you and knowing that they're at home (or elsewhere), snickering to themselves that they got that extra kill off you because of their choice of perks.
Grr...
