Poll: Call of Duty?

Okay, that was a needlessly silly way to say that I have money: something that doesn't happen a lot. I'm interested in the CoD games, and have played a little of CoD 4 on my brother's PS3. Being a more sensible sort of individual, I have an Xbox 360 (just kidding, for those rabid fanboys reading) and I'm wondering which version to get. Hence the poll.

It's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty 5: World at War. You've got the poll mixed up. Personally, I would recommend CoD4, since it costs about half of what CoD5 does and is essentially the same game with an improved campaign mode.

Ill flesh things out instead, COD5 (the game formerly known as WaW) is COD4 minus balance and near-perfect online design. Plus nazi zombies, fire and a ray run, tanks and dogs. So your choice - gimicks or craftsmanship

Well, technically, Modern Warfare is #4, and World At War a spin-off. I've only played Modern Warfare, not WaW, but 4 is an excellent game. You should get it.

Your polls wrong its Call Of Duty 4: modern warfare and just Call Of Duty:World at War no number. Personally WaW has grown on me, especially the Nazi zombies mini game but I still enjoyed Cod:4 allot more.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (Fun if you like Modern Weaponry, and a lot of Martyrdom Online)

Call of Duty: World at War (Pretty much the same as number 4 just different guns, maps, and a lot of other stuff)

In WaW the 'bulshitty explosion death' catagory is filled by the betties instead, and they're far worse. Clays were different, they were fair.

Is World at War even worth buying if I own Modern Warfare? The guns sound so weak, but then again, I'm Prestige 5 in COD4 and I'm pretty sick of it. My favorite gamemode is probably S&D. I've been thinking about buying COD5 a lot. I bought Resistance 2 recently (PS3 owner) and can't stand the competitive online; I join a room and people just way, way better than me are in it, or I'm always better than the others. It's not what I imagined it would be like at all - there is rarely any teamwork. The shooting isn't as good as COD4, and the customization isn't as good as Rainbow Six Vegas 2.

I prefer COD4 myself. The campaign was a lot more fun, and playing split screen with a couple of my friends was awesome fun.

However if you're really hard pressed for the WW2 setting then COD5 would be the go. I didn't like how heavily scripted some of the missions felt, but some of the weapons were pretty good, like Bolt Rifles.

Give each a rent maybe, and see how you like them from there.

I own both but actually prefer Modern Warfare over World At War. It (CoD4) just has that feel to it that makes it awsome
