It's been a long time since I canceled my Xbox Live account but I IIRC my stats were 25% Liked 75% avoided with 80% something in Unsporting and the rest in Aggressive. I rarely had my mic on with randoms.

Basically, if you aren't glitching and you are getting Unsporting votes, that means you are so good at the game they think it's unfair. Wear it with pride. (Unless you are using glitches.)

What I don't get is why I have like 20% good, or people who didn't review me. Somehow I doubt I have had 80% of people who I've played against review me.

You make it sound as if there is some monolithic group out there whose sole purpose is to give bad reviews on other people.
Only players who have actually met you can give reviews of any kind, which is what always annoyed me when I had that "please give this guy a bad review for me" messages.

You're far more likely to get bad reviews than good because nobody cares about the review system, they only use it when they're pissed off at you.

I only have 15% avoided me/85% preferred or did not review. 100% of those that avoided me did so because I was unsporting. I don't really see how I can be unsporting.... I don't do anything that is unsporting at all.

I can see the 'quit early' reviews, as I did have a problem with rage quitting a couple of years back. I'm fine now. *twitch*
The 'Unsporting' I don't really get cause I don't camp, spawn-camp, glitch, boost or junk like that. Maybe 'Unsporting' is the default complaint?
And 10% just avoided me without saying why. Which I think is a little bit impolite, to be honest.

That is almost exactly the same as mine except I had 0% in aggression just about the only game I ever played with strangers online was street Fighter IV and my 69% Unsporting is almost the same as my Street Fighter percentage of matches won and I dont think I was being unsporting by beating Ryu/Ken X amount of times with my superior Blanka playing.

I don't really play games on Xbox Live much, so my account is perpetually stuck at 3 stars haha

It actually really bugs me for some reason.

EDIT: You know, that just fucking figures hahaha... this is Off-topic, but I've played maybe four or five hours of Xbox Live since I got my 360 last year (Guardian Heroes woop woop), but I was planning on playing Syndicate this week and my Gold Account expires on Friday :|

Behavior--I'm never really aggressive in games, but I do tend to shoot people after matches and stuff. As for unsporting, I don't know why that would be. I always follow the rules in games and I'm never team-killing. Quitting early is my internet connection that has always been iffy; and I only quit when half or all of my team has quit. There's no point in playing like that.
Aggressive: 6%
Unsporting: 34%
Quit early: 25%

That said, it's just a review and I don't really care at all about them. I still get to play and have fun.

If you play any competitive games only Xbox live you will get a bad review. People hardly ever bother preferring players but if they get annoyed then they will report you for anything.
Let's say you get a lucky grenade and kill them, they will be angry and probably report you at the end of the game.

It doesn't effect you in any way though. You can have every person who you meet avoid you and you will still have 5 stars, I have no idea how you actully make those go down.

I'm guilty of being on both sides of that. Besides, rep doesn't really mean anything. Last time I checked the percent of people who avoided me was at about 54%.

Does anyone know what the stars are supposed to represent and why I only ever see someone with either five or three stars?

Yep, dont sweat it man. The best I can figure, the little negative feedback I have received has come not long after either Halo or Gears matches where my friends and I have crushed some people. Dont let it bother you.

Finally, I was beginning to think I must be some sort of monster with all the low avoidance ratings on here. Good to meet you my friends, rocking a nice old 89% here. Some 49 percentage points of which is trash talk. (I never talk trash, I only use my mic to call out enemy positions.)

My brother treats it like some sort of badge. He is 89% avoided and I'm 76% avoided. He actively team kills in COD (hardcore). I'm not real sure what I did to earn mine.

As far as I understand it your % rep revolves around player reviews. But whilst you can give someone a good/bad review there is also the 'file complaint' option, which is far worse than a bad review and maybe gets investigated - I'm not entirely sure. Anyhow I think your star rating is affected by how many these official complaints have been filed against you or upheld. I think.

I don't give out too many reviews on people but if a person is acting out unnecessarily, I'll give them a negative review.

A few months ago I did give out quite a few, because there was a long string of people that I encountered on Halo Reach that weren't doing just the quick teabag after killing like many jerk players do. But they were sitting there for several seconds doing it, while hitting my body and shooting it as well. They did it so long at times I could re-spawn and run up and assassinate them.

In a two day period I reported around 8 people as unsporting for doing it, then I didn't encounter people like that ever again.

I hate the whole being a jerk teabaging thing that has become a part of gaming. Just play the game and move on. Besides it tends to be people that aren't even that good that do it. I played against one team that ever one of them did it and they lost 50 to 15. Maybe if they weren't so busy teabaging the could actually play the game and get better.

Edit: Also, what I find hilarious is that a few of the people I ended up giving unsporting reviews for such conduct, they end up messaging me things like, "Let's go 1 on 1 punk", then they send that "So and so" wants to play Halo Reach, message.

You have 3 stars on a new account, it eventully goes to 5 and I have never seen anything other than 3 or 5, im not sure what changes it either
