Poll: Calling your Parents by there First name?

I normally don't use their first names, but I'm not opposed to it as long as its not all the time. I think of it like this: Everyone is able to call them by their first names; but you are one of the only people in the world who can honestly call them by "mom" and "dad." It's a recognition of the relationship that only you have; you may or may not be best buds with them, but that doesn't change your parent/child status to each other.
It varies from day to day.
Usually I refer to my mother as "Ma!" (with an elongated 'a' sound, so it's like "Hey Maaaaa! We got any pie?")
To my father, I either call him "Pops" (in reference to Louis Armstrong more than anything else) or "Ol' Man" because that's what he called his dad.
But use their actual names? Not unless I'm trying to take them off-guard. Most parents wouldn't be used to hearing their names from their children.

I stick with Mum and Dad. Never occurred to me to do anything different. Although Mum varies - it's Mummy if I want something childish, Mother if she's done something annoying.

I've never called my mum by her first name usually just some variant on mum, my dad always dad or robert if we are arguing though rarer these days. Would just be too weird calling them by their first name.
Sometimes I would call my dad by his first name, but as a result, he would then call me by one of my nicknames from when I was a baby. So now I don't do that unless I felt like bugging him.

I dont, but my girlfriend, whose parents were her cheerleading coaches for years and years, she calls them by their first names.
I do it all the time. Plus my parents prefer to be called by their first names.

No, but should I ever have children, I will raise them to call me by my name. It is just more personal.
Nope. Never have never will. If I had step parents I would call them by their names, but my mother and father will always be referred to by some rendition of those words. If I'm trying to get their attention in a large group I might use their name, but beyond that.. Nope.
Nope. Sounds weird but their real names actually mean nothing to me. Mum and Dad are what I know them as.

Its considered rude to call parents/grandparents/aunts & uncles by their first name only in our family. Its the same to me as how I'd never be able to call any of my teachers by their first name or any authority figure with a title.
