Poll: Can a computer game character be sexy?

Many gaming characters are designed to be visually appealing. There's a certain hip-waist ratio that men are psychologically attracted to. If a character seems to meet this, then they can be considered quite attractive. While I think it's odd that people devote so much sexual energy toward video game characters, it doesn't surprise me (Hentai has been around for how long?)

That notwithstanding, what with graphics generally getting better, yeah, characters can be sexy.

As the quote serves to illustrate, some people probably got off on the white mage, while I (along with the rest of the socially well-adjusted crowd) was more inclined toward the 'Rikku' end of the graphics spectrum.

This quote just goes to show how much this gamer 'pleasures himself' over these characters! This thread was supposed to ask whether or not the escapist community found these characters sexy, not whether they jerk off to them!

Sure. If we are attracted to fictional characters, why should it matter whether they are made of flesh and recorder or made of data and programmed?

It's no worse than being attracted to vampires because of Buffy/Angel or Twilight (now don't go running off on me). Besides, if they're *created* to be sexy, how can you resist?

Anyways, i wouldn't say sexy (simply because i would feel almost embarrassed to say so honestly), but i suppose some can be attractive.

Oddly enough, i always found Bastila from KOTOR to be appealing.

Everyone who has ever looked at porn and "enjoyed" it has "enjoyed" something about as real as Hentai or a video game character.
Almost all professional imagry is fake now, at least video game characters admit it.

Oh-ho-ho this is one slippery slope(no pun intended....not sure what that means...).
I suppose "yes," a character can be "sexy." However, there is a boarder one must NEVER cross! You can be aroused by them, you can even fantasies(I wont judge you), but when you start to develope a harmful addiction to said character or worse yet FEELINGS for it, then you need help! Being aroused by a picture of a beautiful woman in a video game is no different than being aroused by a picture of a beautiful woman in a magazine. Just dont fall in love with them!
