I suppose "yes," a character can be "sexy." However, there is a boarder one must NEVER cross! You can be aroused by them, you can even fantasies(I wont judge you), but when you start to develope a harmful addiction to said character or worse yet FEELINGS for it, then you need help! Being aroused by a picture of a beautiful woman in a video game is no different than being aroused by a picture of a beautiful woman in a magazine. Just dont fall in love with them!

Video Games at base form are simply a media for artistry anyways and therefore could be compared to other kinds/types of art. You could compare a photograph of a sexy woman to a character from a game and both could have the same body features. Even if the media is different a character from a game can be as sexy as a picture of an attractive woman. Some characters from games are even entirely based on real people. A great example would be Zoey from Left 4 Dead whose complete character was based off a real person. You could say that her character is attractive and all that would be is admiring a kind of 3d photograph of a real person depicted through the media of polygons.
