my bother thinks that England is invunrable to any attack even if the entire world formed a joint task to take down England. don't get in to why the world is invading England.

It could be invaded but the consequences from MANY nations will make any invasion cease to be. Seriously America, Germany, and many others would come to their aid immediately.

If factoring in Airstrikes no, infantry wise the UK has always been difficult to topple we are a naturaly fortified island with whats considered one of the worlds strongest navy but a show of supperior force would make it a war of attrition.

If we think about our European/American Allies yeah we are pretty much untouchable.

Well...Yes it can be invaded...the Romans invaded Britannia, they just didn't go very far, cause it wasn't worth it.

And that remains its major ace. Its just expensive to go invade Britain and maintain it.

But if the whole world attacked Britain...they wouldn't stand a chance.

On topic, I feel that every place can be invaded.

I'm sure that if the entire world united against England, they could prevail and bring the nation to it's knees. The thing is, that could probably be said of any nation (save perhaps the United States, pardon the typical arrogance brought on by stockpiles of nuclear arms).

At any rate, I can't think of any reason to actually carry out such a plan. What's there to be gained by such a bloody fight?

The only uninvadeable countries are Russia and Canada. Napoleon and Hitler got the shit kicked out of them trying to invade Russia, and when the US attacked Canada in the War of 1812, they lost and the Canadians burned down the White House.

Also, our Navy would bollock your face off if you tried anything from the sea. Our airforce is good as well. However, our army isn't much so we might be screwed there. We're really the back-up guys when it comes to wars now.

this, unless you know somthing we dont. like perhaps plans for another world war. then there really is no reason to invade you.
