Today I had my 3rd 360 20gig model die on me. They seem to last a year with me and everyone I know around here.

I currently own around 34 games.

I also own a ps3 and about 20 games.

My options:

1. Sell my 360 crap and be done with it
2. Buy a second PS3 for upstairs use (where my 360 is)
3. Buy a Wii and start a collection of games for that - Should note I do love Nintendo games on my Game cube and my DS.
4. PSP to tie in with my PS3

Which should I go with?

From what I hear, they are fine. The X-box still has the highest failure rate of the major consoles, though.
I love my 360 - errrr did - and have alot of cool exclusives - but at 3 failures now - I am not sure its worth putting the money into MS products any more. I am to old at this point to put up with this stuff. If I buy a slim I want it to work.

Its why I posted this poll. I will leave it up to yall.

I wouldnt get a second PS3, unless you have like a girlfriend that might want the old one or a brother or something. Im not too much a fan of the wii, so I said PSP, I like my PSPgo. I got it as a gift and it's actually really likeable, got me back into PSP gaming.

Buy the Xbox man. Seriously my Xbox 360 is the 60gb that I have had for two years and it still works like a beaut...except it rattles if you shake it, but that was my fault I dropped it :p

You already have a tonne of games for the xbox and you don't need a second PS3.
The Wii was nothing but a gimmick, trust me like everyone you don't pay attention to it after 6 months.
The PSP is a dying piece of hardware in my mind like the Wii, nobody plays them anymore.

The new Xbox 360 is stylish, cheap, big hardrive with better quality so it wont crap out on you (plus it's "whisper quiet")

well i'd either go with the 360 or the psp

psp has some damn good games on it, if your a ff fan like me there is a bunch of em, and ff dissidia is the BEST fighting game i have ever played hands down. so if you tie it to your ps3 thru the ps store you can get some really good stuff to download on there (id go with an older psp model, 2000 are very solid, or a 3000 if thats all you can find) but if you tie it in with your ps store its a good purchase, otherwise id stick with the slim 360 model, with reach coming out in roughly a week and gears of war 3 this spring, its got its major exclusives coming out within a year of each other.

the original models did but the newer ones have a much lower rate. Tue slums have the CPU and gpu on a single die making them use up much less power and outpouring much less heat than even the jasper models.

Why buy a second PS3 even if for another room? Go the new 360 the vents are placed in a better place than they were, plus if the system starts to overheat it locks you out until it cools down, so more times than not you won't overheat.
