I'm sure somewhere along the line, probably the B line, this made sense. It got off at the wrong stop. Missed connection.

Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo...

OT: Where as I agree that some people should definitely try to make more of an effort to make a coherant and easily understandable point, I also understand that on the internet everyone is perceived the same, no matter who they are in real ife... at first at least anyway.

Therefore some of the more incomprehensable 'walls of text' are merely people with English as a second language, people who are younger, and haven't grasped a full understanding of the language or grammer, or physics students... and therefore sometimes it is up to the reader to make more of an effort to understand the point the asker is trying to make...

You've got to be kidding me. I've been further even more decided to use even go need to do look more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that? My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like. It's just common sense.

So no, I quite like reading the occasional incomprehensible ramble. It's kind of like a brain teaser trying to figure out what has been said. I guess it can be annoying when the confusing post is the opener to a thread, though.

Why does the third and seventh Buffalo have capitals?

Most walls of text start off fairly reasonably, but often diverge onto some unrelated and confusing tangent that has very little/nothing to do with the issue the OP is trying to get across. It's really hard to post on those threads because for the most part I think I know what the DISCUSSION is about, but I have no idea how to approach them because I don't understand what the ARGUMENT is.

Man I love the OP because of the sweet delicious irony! Well played Jack, well played. Seriously though, if I can get a laugh out of it I see no real harm. If I laugh :p. Then I will pass my righteous justice!

Because sometimes you just write what your mind is rambling. Since this is a forum no one bothers to edit their post, and by the time they realize that they could have formulated their idea into a much more consice sentence instead of a paragraph, they have already finished said paragraph and can#t be bothered to exchange it with two sentences. Not excepting people to read this.

I think what this conceptualized philosopher is manipulating the transistors to assimilate, is that the phosphorescence is infrequently expedited by the transcendence of horticultural malevolence, and that in its radioactivity, the prevailing benevolence is quite simply too aerodynamic for the neurological deprivations to perpendicularity depolarize.

I can't read that.... it's impossible for my brain to take in.

I've noticed it on dating sites. People write profiles that read like something from Dr. Seuss. A lot, certainly more than half, of these people don't actually have anything interesting about them and try to hide that fact under a torrent of crap.

Let me ask you something: In a thread that starts off by happily asking a gorilla to type out the complete works of banana 5, will Rico Puerte ever get his gold?

OT: I have no idea whatsoever what the question of the thread is, or what the poll is. My head hurts.

If I answering your question correctly, which I think goes along the lines of "why do some people take a long time to make a point while others do not" is that some people, such as myself, have a hard time articulating what point or opinion they are trying to convey. But there are also those who enjoy or can't help but ramble on for hours making the same statement over and over while making slight changes to how they say it. That's my two cents anyway. Who knows, I may have just made an irrelevant and incoherent post of jibber jabber; thus proving part of your assertion that sometimes people talk a lot but at the same time manage to say nothing at all.
