Poll: Can Wolverine Be Killed?

Right so this is an argument that somes up all the time between me and a few of my friends. I personally think he can be and there was cartoon on the other day called Wolverine and the X-Men and 20 years into the future a number of the X-Men had been killed, even Wolverine.
My friend, on the other hand, think he can't.
So I'm calling on you people of the Escapist to share your views, even if I am outnumbered by those who think he can't. And hopefully gain an edge if the topic happens to be risen again.

Seriusly though. His cells are suppose to replicate at extreme speed when needed. So technically if you destroy ALL his cells he won't have anything to regenerate.

NO, NO, NO with a capital N (and O). His bones are unbreakable, his organs replaceable-- and if I'm not mistaken, once he and Sabertooth were locked in combat so long that he was reduced to a charred, stained, adamantium skeleton-- and he was STILL beating the crap out of that guy.

EDIT: Actually, I just remembered: He once killed Sabertooth by drowning him, so perhaps the same could work on him.

Marvel did a glimpse into the future for a while and the only living x-man was gambit - so i guess yeah that does mean he can die.

Also I seem to remember magneto ripping the adamantium from his body at one point, so if he did that again and then set him on fire or sommet it is possible ^^

Could he survive a nuclear warhead to the face? Seems doubtful to me... I mean, nuclear explosions can evaporate a person on the spot, literally leaving nothing but their shadow behind. How could he possibly regenerate if EVERYTHING of him is obliterated in a matter of seconds?

Yes, Magneto can do it easily. If I remember correctly, didn't Magneto at some point remove the adamantium from Wolverine and he was back to bone-claws? Anyway, Magneto could just use the adamantium to mangle, pull apart, and chop his body to death.

Also, Rogue could do it too. Just touch him and shoot him and don't let go. Bam, he's powerless and dead.

He's still only human. A mutated human who can heal quickly and has an adamantium skeleton, true, but still human. Hence if he's reduced to nothing but skeleton then he will die. Nothing you say can change that. As for the skeleton itself, just because it's been bonded with adamantium doesn't mean it's unbreakable. Here's a quote for you:

See? I've managed to shoot down both arguments there. Plus, did any of you know that in a human head there's a bit at the back of the head where there's no skull protection? Feel the back of your head and you'll notice it. I know because I used that same fact in a screenplay I wrote a while ago. Anyway, a sword or knife through the brain using that entry point, and all the adamantium in the world won't save Wolverine from a painful death.

So there. I win.
