Throw a space marine with a power sword at him. That would do the job. Boltgun to the face=dead. That or declare exterminatus on any planet he happens to be on :p

I have theory to hurt him, probably not kill him though-

Break his nose.

The admantium bonded to his skeleton, not his cartilage. (I think, I don't read the comics)

Flamethrower or disintegration power or anything that destroys flesh.. acid... there's lots of ways he could die. His skull would stop most anything from destroying his brain, but if they made a shot through his eyesocket, he'd be done.

Captain Kirk could kill Wolverine with a phaser set to kill. It disintegrates you. The human torch or lots of other flying characters could kill him. They could just float 100 yards above him and light him up. Wolverine wouldn't have much of a chance against the Hulk. Rogue could kill Wolverine. Lots of the reality-altering heroes could kill him: Dr. Manhattan, Silver Surfer...

He's survived a small nuclear blast before... So, no. He can't be.

To be honest, it depends on the writer. Sometimes he takes a bullet to the head and he's down for a few hours, other times he doesn't miss a step. Sometimes he's killed just as easily as the other x-men, which as the third X-men movie shows us is easier than getting between Paris Hilton thighs, other times like I mentioned before, he can withstand a nuclear blast. Really, he's powers of regeneration and strength are entirely dependant on his current popularity. The stronger his selling power is the stronger he is. One day he could have difficulty fighting Sabertooth, the next day he's kicking the crap out of the Hulk. So, the answer to your question fluctuates day to day.

Anyone can be killed. Except Doctor Manhattan, but he's pretty much a god so that doesn't count. But yes, Wolverine can be killed. Not even his fast healing ability will save him from a sniper shot to the head...
That's where his extra-strong-bullet-stopping adamantium sceleton comes in i presume
Magneto-sniper combo?

Wolverine can die by just incinerating him by catapulting him into the sun. As far as Magneto ripping the adamentium out of Wolverine: he survived that. He didn't have healing powers because they were burnt out but he lived. He was able to survive that since the adamentium was acting like a poison which disallowed his healing powers to take their full affect.

I don't care how awesome you skeleton is, or you cell regeneration, the horrible truth about cyanide is it simply reacts with your enzymes, and you just stop working. Simply chemistry, and no ones immune
The Doctor can, and has.

Also, Rogue could do it too. Just touch him and shoot him and don't let go. Bam, he's powerless and dead.
This idea seems very plausible. With reference to that TV show 20 years in the future, I do believe that Bishop tells Xavier that Wolverine is still alive and the tombstone is a fake.

No one in the x-men universe can ever die. no matter how much it seems like yes this person is truly dead for real this time, they are not. For a superhero and super villains greatest power of all is that of Retcon. No given continuity is so powerful that it can't be altered through retcon.

What just keep breaking it until he bleeds to death? Wouldn't cutting parts off him, and just moving them away from him do it? Or would it re grow?

Only by killing all of his fans.

As long as he has but a single fan, he will regenerate from anything up to and including every atom in his body being rent asunder.

Decapitation.

If it can stop Deadpool, it will stop Wolverine
When has decapitation stopped Deadpool?
Its true, I have read that when he is decapitated, he can't regenerate a new head or a new body, it takes for someone to physically put it on his body for him to regenerate
Correct, but he's not dead, he's a vegetable at that point. I also saw in one comic he grabbed his own head and put it on himself.

The Doctor can, and has.
Granted, but he doesn't count, both because he has alien and therefore unpredictable bio-chemistry, and because he's a title character in a kiddies TV show, and therefore immune to death

I wonder if he could drown...

Or starve, or be poisoned, or... You get the idea. Some things can't be regenerated.

Well apart from that bit ( I mean writers can be total idiots) for all intensive purposes, he is dead.

Mainly because he can't be 'rescued' by his Mistress Death :D

He's survived that, I believe. He's definitely survived a crossbow bolt to the temple, which went in way and came out the other, but his healing factor pushed it out after about half a day, but he was dead for that time until he revived himself.

There was a comic where he was killed by a sentinel. All that was left of him was his skeleton. I dont know the name of the comic though.

Could he survive a nuclear warhead to the face? Seems doubtful to me... I mean, nuclear explosions can evaporate a person on the spot, literally leaving nothing but their shadow behind. How could he possibly regenerate if EVERYTHING of him is obliterated in a matter of seconds?
Well...

He pretty much survived that too.

That's one of many reasons X-Men 3 annoyed me. He was barely even hurt by the phoenix force, when Phoenix is basically meant to be God of the Marvel universe, it was ridiculous.

well in the film he was killed by a silver bullet to the head or something (right?)
but since we're not talking about the films, i guess he can't. he can heal from anything i've ever seen him get hit with in the comics
Since the films made Callisto super fast (>_>) and made my favourite character Psylocke turn invisible (>_<) I would say yes, the films don't count.

Actually thinking about it, in the films they made Psylocke younger than Kitty Pryde.

...The hell? Sorry for the brief sidebar but am I right on that one?

.....push him in a pool and hold him there.

Ultimate Hulk once tore him in half.

He's been bombed with a warhead when Venom was seeking to use him as a host.

He recovered by himself when Magneto ripped out the adamantium lacing his skeleton.

He's been married.

All of these incidents, he's survived.

But yes, he can die.
