I can easily escape holds from someone of smiler size and skill and am fairly proficient in blocking kicks and punches...

And from experience I can take a hell of a beating (not learned from fighting, I rarely fight). Last time I was in a real fight it was more of a wrestling match between me and the star of my High Schools Varsity wresting team, I easily escaped his holds and I just walked away, we were about smiler weight...

What does knowing martial arts have to do with Chutzpa levels? A fight is determined by the environment, whether anyone is armed, how many people are involved, and the chutzpa levels of those involved. Knowing how to do some silly looking chop wont matter if you don't have the balls to break someones face open. I don't know karate, but I know ka-ray-zee.
I haven't lost a fight since my first.
I was four, the kid threw a brick and started biting. I still won.

I probably couldn't win in a fair fight. Pllus fair fights are boring anyway. I prefer ambushing my opponent when he leasts expects it.

The look in their eyes as the sharp objects goes through their back, the gasping for breath, the fear, the surprise. The color of blood looks delicious on white.

...what were we talkin' about?

Studied martial arts for just under 8 years or so. I don't particularly enjoy fighting, since you inevitably get hit and I'm pretty small, but I'm willing to fight if there's a good enough reason, which there rarely ever is. Also, I'd like to think that people are intelligent enough to resolve whatever conflict with another method. Only in extreme times will things come to blows.

It all depends on circumstance. I'm not stupid enough to get into fights, but alas I have been in a few, and won.

There's no option for a definite win, even though you haven't taken martial arts.

I mean, I've never get lost a fight in my life, including one time this guy hit me in my dangly bits... Twice. The aftermath of that fight was horrible, horrible pain, though.

When I was doing martial arts regularly I helped the instructor teach "impact self defense" to some students at various schools in the area, I remember those lessons better than any other, I don't get into fights I send an attacker to hospital or if there's more than 2 people I know to run.

Luckily I've only had to properly defend myself once, poor guy needed more than a knife for my wallet.

The If you've put me in a position where you are giving me no choice but to defend myself, I will put every ounce of my energy into taking you down as quickly and as efficiently as possible. I'm the sort of person who has no issue with fighting dirty. If you leave me no choice, I will place my size 12 combat boots squarely between your legs before intruding upon your eyes with my fingers. In most worst cases, simply saying something like that is enough to make everyone back off from one another.
^^This is how I fight - if my opponent(s) insist on combat, then they'd better be damned sure they can put me down.

I'm not strong but if I have good space and am not wearing my boots/jacket/tight jeans I can defend myself well. I learned everything from watching Bruce Lee movies and playing video games. Before you say "well that won't help you" just listen.

Jeet Kung Do is a philosophy, rather than a style. About using he best of everything to help you when needed. I'm not great at anything but if needed I can pull off a Suplex, kicks, and strikes because I try to be well rounded. I use knee strikes and hard kicks because my legs are stronger than my arms.

People don't usually try to fight me. It turns out i'm a very good mediator (except with adults, why is it they see every teenager as a druggie?). But i've managed to fair well. The will to fight is all you need.

I doubt it.. I mean, I am extremely thin and bony, so that presents it's advantages and disadvantages.

On one hand, I can knock the shit outta someone with my elbow, but on the other, I have no strength to throw a good punch or kick. Also, I'm extremely tall, so I could probably drop someone to the ground relatively quick, and then heel-stomp the shit out of them.

But like I said, no muscle mass or fat to take any impact, so I'd probably break a few bones, even though I am slightly desensitized to pain.

So I'm saving up that fight for when I truly need it.

I'm rather huge, so I've got a massive advantage in a fist fight right there. I also have a fair grounding in the basics of martial arts (practiced at a dojo 2-3 times a week for a couple years a while back). I'm inherently non-violent, usually, but if someone does somehow drive me to the point of violence, it is usually resolved quickly.

Where's the "I carry a weapon, therefore I win." option in the poll?
That doesn't necessarily mean you win. You can be fail with your weapon, your opponent can also be armed and be better, they could have a better weapon for the fight, or just have more weapons. I, for instance, always carry two knives.

Now, as for whether or not I'd win in a fight, It depends what kind of fight. I am immensely talented at holding ground and a slow deliberate advance. People that attack by moving around alot tend to have trouble fighting me because I have more endurance. However, if I'm on the offensive, and must chase down an opponent, I am at a disadvantage.

So, my ideal combat situation is one where I can carry a sword (and my two knives, of course) and a gun. Then should anyone try to attack me, I have my epic defense, should they run, I fire upon them. :)

Stupid anti-sword laws

Acually if your taller then your oppenent its acually harder to win a fight alot of the times. Because they can dodge you and ram you into the ground many times before you can land a solid punch. Of course it depends on the heights. If your 6'4 and your opponent is 6' then its pretty fair, if your 6'4 and the opponent is 5'2 then you are at a disadvantage acually in many cases.
