Piano and guitar, far more proficient on the guitar though.

Musicians and Artists, I sometimes wonder if I could crack open their heads and see how they work, then adjust myself to be able to use their power. I can never seem to get the knack of playing or painting, no matter how many times I try to throw myself against that brick wall.

You see, the secret to become a great artist is to be miserable. Ridiculously miserable. Like, Van Gogh taking depressants and just lost his job, wife, house, car, and only begotten son miserable.

Then it just flows. But then, you realize the art doesn't make you happy.

So you turn to drugs.

And the music gets even better.

And then you O.D.

I'm decent at the guitar and am working hard on improving, and I recently started learning how to play the piano, but I'm horrible at it so I don't know if that counts. Oh and I can play the Ukulele!

i know i meant i'm working on that with the guitar and does anyone one of a easy way to to it .i can do a basic one but can't get the more complexed ones

Of course there's no easy way.
It wouldn't be an advanced technique if it was easy, now, would it?

Pianos are better than guitars anyway.

thats true and i know that but you there are ways to get down things easyer with different techniques of it but in the end i still need to just keep working on it and i agree with you that in some ways piano is better. it is really fun and it has better flow with songs but i like guitar better

I can!

I play bass, I'm getting into chords, harmonies and solo stuff. I'm re-tuning my 5 string to E-A-D-G-C soon so that should make playing chords, harmonies and melodies a fair bit easier.

I also dabble on Reason 4, I like writing Trance mostly. I get a bit frustrated however as I sometimes struggle to get my musical ideas into the program. I'm getting better though =D

I also compose accompaniments, as in, the music that goes under the melody. I can't write melodies very well but I can throw together a few chords, a drum beat and a bassline.

You mean sweep picking? Awesome, I tried to do that. Failed miserably.

I can make music on bass, guitar, keyboard, drums, harmonica, accordian and tenor sax, but not so well with computer softwear. Usually I'll just be playing whatever comes to my head, and thats hard to do with music programs.

Yeah. Well, in the loosest possible sense of the question. I have a music Myspace on which I have a song by Biffy Clyro which I hacked to pieces in Audacity, and another which is just a filtered clip of me messing around with a guitar. I won't link it because it's complete arse.
