No problem understanding that, good diction and familiar sentence structure.

I had no problem understanding you, one thing that somebody brought up already was that you pronounced "thought" wrong but aside from that everything was fine.
Props on learning to speak a second language!

An Englishman here and yeah, I understand you perfectly. Honestly, that's not what I expected a Romanian accent to sound like- if you hadn't said, I'd have assumed you were Italian.

For English not being your native language that was pretty clear and understandable. I just suggest practicing more and you should be able to speak English without worry.

now i dont mean to be rude but... wtf is a La Ie Ka, at least try to pronounce the words. its all i ask.

it took me a loonng time to understand them but i still have trouble some times, still kinda pee's me off though because it sounds like they're not trying to speak English.

Sounds just fine to me. Perfectly comprehensible, and the grammar is better than many native English speakers too!

You got an accident, but no where near enough to actually interfere with communication, understood you perfectly.

"It's just that my mic is shit" was the best potentially unintentional deadpan delivery I've ever heard.
My thoughts exactly! Perfect line to end it with.
All of this!

I caught myself thinking: Hmm... pretty good... still doing good... got a bit of an accent but not ba- *applause*

Somebody give this guy his English Speaking Card this damn minute.

I understood just fine. A thick accent, yeah, but it's easy listening none the less. Got no advice, though. When I speak English out loud, I either sound like the ponciest fake brit you've ever heard, or this god-awful, every-one-can-tell-I'm-a-finn-speaking-english kind of git. You know the sort, just watch those F1 or rally interviews. >_>

You brave son of a gun, recording your own voice and posting it online. Had no problem understanding it either. It helped that you took the time to enunciate and speak slowly.

You sound fine. Of course you have an accent, but my family immigrated to London 50 years ago from Turkey and they also have an accent after living here for 50 years and get along just fine, I wouldn't worry too much about that.

One thing I would say, and someone already mentioned something like this, is that when you say 'thought' it sounds a bit like you're saying, uh, 'fart'. It's still understandable in context so it's not too big a deal, but try to nail that 'th' sound and the 'ou' should sound more like 'or' than 'ah'.

My nanny had some pronunciations that could make a person blush. Because she was used to vowels being short and sharp, hearing her pronounce the words 'fork', 'Coke', 'sheet' and 'beach' often made us giggle.

As others have said you are fine, but you need to work on getting that "th" sound through more clearly because it is sounding identical to your "f" sound. So when you say "thought" it's sounding like "faught". Don't worry, you are not the only person because I've met TONS of people who can't make the "th" sound because their native language simply doesn't have that sound. The easiest way to do it is stick your tongue between your teeth, like this lady demonstrates. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mOlEh5bdNQ]
Other than that you're 100% fine, Romanian accent is sexy <3

Through I can imagine some Americans having a tough time understanding you, because from my years of online gaming experience and talking to people from other countries people from US tend to have the most difficult time understanding foreign accents. Not sure why.
For example I have a Kiwi accent and have had the occasional guy from US claim he has no clue what I'm saying...even though Kiwi accent is apparently supposed to be quite easy to understand.

But then again, I sometimes have trouble understanding people with really strong British accents because some of them speak so freaking fast that all their vowels/consonants mush into each other lol. The later Harry Potter movies especially, half the shit the Weasley brothers say makes me go "bwuh?".

to copy pretty much what everybody else said, you have a fairly strong accent, but that doesn't mean you're unclear. can hear you fine, although if you were to talk fast i think it would be considerably harder

It's uncanny with the accent and all but good enough to understand clearly.

Bonus points for swearing in a proper sentence.

Very good. You seem to pronounce your 'th' as an 'f' sound (so it sounds like 'faught' instead of thought). But the grammar is good and perfectly understandable and would pass as fluent. You seem to have a perfect understanding of the language and your phrase "It's just that my mic is shit" is unexpected and funny, and proves you can use the language to effectively convey your meaning with no trouble.

As for the th/f thing - put your tongue between your teeth to stop yourself making the f sound.
