Poll: Can your 5-year-old spell "potato"?

My little brother could spell potato when he was five. Well, he could spell if if you were ever able to get him to stop bouncing off the walls.

I was commenting on the quality of the thread and being sarcastic about how he's not doing anything about it too.

Reading your other posts doesn't really matter does it?, you yourself has commented on how poorly made this thread is, which includes my comments as well.

Well, most kids learn to write and spell most of their vocabulary during the first two classes of elementary school (6-7 years old), so she's (in my opinion) perfectly normal.
Some kids learn how to spell (a few or many words) during kindergarden, but it's really no big deal.

In Belgium you only start writing/reading/spelling/anything with words in school at 5-6 years. That's when you start getting Basic Education. Even then they're only 2-3 perhaps even 4-letter words.

I doubt there is anything to worry about.
