"go fuck yourself, and get out of here. You'll never be worth a shits consideration in a million years, so I hope you die of dick rot in a gutter".

Which was all the more awkward because it was a woman :/

besides, I've seen canada, and have friends who live there. they're not the great utopia people like to make them out to be.
My, my friend. You're a bit confrontational....

Do not pretend that our Prime Minister is a cool guy. Or maybe he wasn't... yeah I don't think a wannabe George Bush is a compliment.
I think Harper is a pretty cool guy. Eh has a secret neo-con agenda, and doesn't afraid of anything.

OT: This would be an... interesting race. To say the very least.

I'm not sure this is such a good idea. After all we're currently only slightly less fucked up than they are.

It's quite alright my good sir. We all have our off days. Besides, that dick rot jab was pretty funny. I have to give you that.

Being Canadian, yes. Although, our government is just crap, not evil, but crap. The only good politician we had recently passed away from cancer just after the elections. He was the leader of the NDP, Jack Layton, and he was awesome. Under his leadership, they became the Official Opposition, for the first time, imagine that they're in second place. And then he died. And all of Canada grieved. I'm sure if our PM died now, we'd have half that many people being sad about it.

I recall hearing that one of the critiques of Harper by... Martin, I think it was, is that Harper had a secret Neo-conservative agenda. Which really hasn't materialized, last I checked.

At this point, I feel like Canada and America were great friends.

America shot for the sky with dreams of grandeur and Canada settled down with a wife, kids and a stable job. Now after America made it's fame and money, it went down in a blaze of drugs, swearing and underage hookers.

Canada then found his washed up old friend living under a bridge with a bottle of whiskey, screaming about random nonsense. Canada has taken pity on his friend and offered him a place to stay until he gets clean and back on his feet. And we would have to be crazy not to accept.
Honestly, that made my week, and that's totally correct. America, clean up your act, please. Focus on fixing yourself, not making Jersey Shore, or fighting "terrorists". Get the homeless people off the streets, and making money, fix your economy, fix your education. Please, we care up North.

I'm not sure how I feel about this.

There is quite a sizable portion of the American population I wouldn't really want to share a nation with.

So, I don't get it! Would the US becoma an annex to Canada, or would Canada just make all of the decisions for the US? And really, how does and entire country become a president!? That would be really awkward to try and carve onto Mount Rushmore... Or are we refering to the Canadian Prime Minister running the US aswell?

I'm Canadian, but...Oh, wow. Do you know how useless our government is? If something like this really happened, prepare for America to suddenly become everyones friend. America should be a terrifying nation, with an iron grip on it's people, and nuclear weapons aimed everywhere else. They're cruel enough already, but comparing America to Canada is like comparing a 30 year veteran to Forrest Gump.

Your call.

That would work if Canada was a person born in the United States. It is not a person, and it was not born in the United States. An individual state from America has a better chance of running for Election then Canada. Although if either Texas or California win, we're gonna get screwed.
What are you talking about, everyone knows Canada was born in America, we have the Birth Certificate and everything!

Totally legit!
Please tell me your not one of the people who think Obama isn't American.

OT:
This is silly.

I believe Obama is American, even if he wasn't I still wouldn't really care. He lived there for ages and is politically competent enough to get voted in, so let him keep the job. I just connected the two in my mind and thought it would make a funny joke, and yes, this thread is silly, but, as a wise philosopher once said, sometimes girls just wanna have fun.

BASK IN IT!

The site is full of "super srs" politics threads. I thought we could use a silly one.
I blame the yanks. They're so serious all the time. Why can't they be more fun and spontaneous, like the English?

Because that would require a sense of humor not involving fart gags?
