There has been a lot of debate about this issue for years, and I'd just like to know how you people feel about it.
I personly believe that socialism and communism, given the chance, could provide a fair and effective society, but since most nations are capitalist, so the rich own the media, they wouldn't dare show anything but hatred for socialism in order to protect their own wealth. I do agree that hard work should be rewarded but not if it relies on exploiting the working classes labour to gain it, the way that all TNC's (trans-national corporations) do, both in their own countries and in developing ones with sweat-shops. Any system that relies on universal greed and encourages class boundaries, to make the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, is not a good one, no matter what it is.
But that's just my opinion.
