There has been a lot of debate about this issue for years, and I'd just like to know how you people feel about it.

I personly believe that socialism and communism, given the chance, could provide a fair and effective society, but since most nations are capitalist, so the rich own the media, they wouldn't dare show anything but hatred for socialism in order to protect their own wealth. I do agree that hard work should be rewarded but not if it relies on exploiting the working classes labour to gain it, the way that all TNC's (trans-national corporations) do, both in their own countries and in developing ones with sweat-shops. Any system that relies on universal greed and encourages class boundaries, to make the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, is not a good one, no matter what it is.

But that's just my opinion.

Who is going to take this seriously when you put Nazism up there? Personally, I don't care what type of nation I live in, as long as democracy rules.

You do know that Communism and Socialism are forms of Marxism and that Naziism is a form of Fascism right?

I would go for a mix of capitalism and socialism, much like we already have in the States and in Europe.

What I would love to see would be nationalized healthcare so an overnight stay at the hospital doesn't cost someone without insurance over 2 grand... But at the same time I would love to see a limit on governmental control of personal freedom.

It seems tough to balance when I think about it, but ultimately I'd like to see more regulations for all businesses who profit at the expense of the poor, but lesser govt oversight on people in general.

A Nissan Cherry is a type of car, doesn't mean I hate cars just because I don't think that is a good one

I like freedom and competition. I believe a mixed system of capitalism and limited laws designed to prevent monopolization and promote competition would serve the people best. And there is virtually no point in advocating 'Communism' without clarification, because so many conflicting ideas fall under that umbrella.

So why didn't you get even more specific?

E.g. Constitutional Monarchy is a form of Capitalism, which is different from a Democratic Republic.
