Communitarianism - humans are social beings, there is no such thing as one individual human, you need a community to know and recognize your "individuality". Sadly, Communitarianism has so far never been tested on a large scale, so let's give it a chance.

PS - don't misunderstand Communitarianism for communism, they are not the same.

Pure socialism would ensure that everybody had a job and the economy stayed stable, but everything would stay the same. Everybody would spend the same amount of money to buy slightly differing products meaning no advancement. A capatlist society is the only way to move forward efficently what insentive do people have to make innovations or work harder if there accomplisments are shared by the public. I think capitalism is the way to go. Socialism is for a perfect world, we don't live in a perfect world.
You've confused communism and socialism. Please try again.
Please look the definition of Socialism before you say anything. "Socialism refers to a broad set of economic theories of social organization advocating public or state ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods, and a society characterized by equality for all individuals, with a fair or egalitarian method of compensation." from wikipedia and don't give me that BS about wikipedia being unreliable. Socialism is equal distribution of property as you can see above that is why everything would be the same because everybody would have roughly the same thing because they would be given the same resources to buy with. Socialism and communism are essentially the same while slightly differing in ideology anyways so i don't see why you would complain. But, to be fair you didn't point out what you considered to be the problem with my statement, so if you could specify what i got wrong teach i'd be more than happy to respond.
