I had a league of legends game yesterday where one guy was trapped in CAPS LOCK...it's really annoying for some reason.
I mean it is EASY TO READ IF YOU HAVE A BIG MONITOR but still annoying, i used shift to wright this btw

I've always thought that this was one of the basic rules of typed communication, whether over fora, IM, SMS or elsewise.

Not so much an unspoken rule as it is just damn well stupid to use.
