I'm so excited, I just can't hide it. I preordered the standard edition shortly after the demo came out. The anticipation helped me cope with Devil Survivor Overclocked being pushed back to late August. And I really want to know how hard this game is, considering Atlus made it easier via patch. Atlus. Let that sink in for a moment.

It's still Atlus, so like all their other games, I expect it to have a better story and be more well-written than any visual novel I've ever read. And have better art/music/gameplay, but that's kind of a given.

And to be fair, you wouldn't exactly need Atlus for better writing than these. Not that I don't love them, but yeah.

I reaaally want the deluxe version, so I'm attempting to save up, but I don't think it will happen. I still pick the game up as soon as I can though.

And Atlus games are usually pretty darn good. I'm still playing Etrian Odyssey III, and I got that the day it released...

Oh you gotta frelling believe I am looking forward to the game. I loved both of the teams previous games, and this one looks to continue their winning streak. It also seems to include a lot of things I like in games. Interesting story concept? Check. Unusual gameplay? Check. Crap tons of weirdness? Check. A very prominent theme of sexuality? Check. A great aesthetic? Check. Nightmarish dream worlds? Check. Launch day it is for me.

Maybe I'm missing something, but the only thing I saw from the game was someone playing the Japanese demo and it involved a half naked sheep/ram dude who was climbing cubes, is this just another puzzle platformer or am I missing something?

Dating sim during the day, puzzle gameplay at night. All revolving around a murder mystery.

A-hem... all revolving around HIM being a two-timer and feeling unbelievably guilty about it... the puzzle-platforming is basically a manifestation of his subconscious (a dream). So yes... it's Atlus, alright!

Waiting to hear whether or not the Xbox 360 version is going to be region-free or not (being in the UK) as IMO Xbox cover > PS3 cover.

If it's region locked then fuck Atlus.
