Deathclaws easily, I dont get why everyone has such an issue with Cazadores. Also Reavers are just bullet spongey, not really as difficult as Deathclaws which are bullet spongey and will fuck your shit up

Cazadores, its almost like the devs at Obsidian had a conversation along the lines of "did you ever play Morrowind? remember the cliff racers? those where really cool we should make something like that.... but even cooler".

So they made venomous cliff racers on crack that spawn in swarms.

Fallout New Vegas: Deathclaws.
My thoughts exactly. Reavers in F3 were a *****. I recall running from 2 Reavers halfway across Point Lookout.

In New Vegas Reavers are not scary, I have more trouble with Deathclaws.

Deathclaws by miles the tougher beast if we're talking about a battle with a single deathclaw vs a battle with a single cazador.

Cazadores can also be outrun mind you as well even if you do come across a swarm. once a deathclaw spots you though...well its nighty night unfortunately unless youve got something highly powered in your arsenal or are an extremely good crackshot at targeting one of its legs with a decent rifle.

Cazadors definitely annoyed me the most in New Vegas. I still wake up in cold sweats when I dream about being swarmed.

Cazadors!! At least you can aim at the rest, when I see cazador coming after I start spamming riot shotgun yelling shit. Bastards just swarm the hell outta you with poison stingers to add insult. And I hate trying to snipe them, movement pattern is too erratic.
Exactly! Too small, too fast to draw a good bead, then they're all over you. Had more deaths to these bugs than any other enemy in the game.

This question is so unfair! It depends what sort of character your playing. Cazadors are pretty easy to handle if you can rip their little wings off - pipe or better still a ranged weapon and good accuracy in vats make that easy at higher levels. Deathclaws have different variations - male, female, old young... So its sort of up in the air.

On the other hand, nobody ever likes dealing with too many Feral Ghoul Reavers, just gets ridiculous. But I've never seen it get as bad as it did in Fallout 3's Point Look Out expansion. Those ghouls were the nastiest buggers to ever grace the screens of the last two Fallout games. You could run out of nukes fighting those things! They made the Terrible Shotgun seem like it might just be a terrible weapon! Nothing does that to the shotgun I love... Guess I'm voting Feral Ghoul Reavers under the right or more over wrong circumstances and for the most part. I still don't recommend getting too close to the Cazadors.

What's up with everyone being crybabies about Cazadores? They are annoying, but hardly deserving of such hate. Sure, they're hard to hit at long range, but just get them close enough for a good VATS % and watch the crits fly.

Deathclaws are pushovers, hardly worth a mention. Not hard to hit, they go down with a few solit shots from a good rifle. They are mostly there to discourage low level characters.

But Reavers... Good god, I hate those things. The sheer about of HP they pack means that even if every shot is a crit to the head, it'll still take a fuckton of ammo to bring them down. AND they do lots of damage. AND they do it from range.

Cazadors. They come in these swarms and their poison is ridiculously powerful.

The only way I've been able to deal with Cazaswarms is to pray to the mighty VATS god and aim for their wings.

Reavers, I never really had a problem with. But I was heavy into plasma and explosives in my run-throughs, so that might explain things.

Deathclaws are hell in all of the games. Cazadors and Deathclaws are both around equal. Feral Ghoul Reavers aren't so bad, because in Fallout 3 I always have the ghoul mask.

However none of them are as bad as....

The Cazaclaw!

Deathclaws for sure. Atleast you can run away from Cazadors, Deathclaws just don't give up and kill you in a few hits.
I have to go through the Quarry in New Vegas right now, oh god the horror
If you hop about on the rocks outside the quarry you can get up onto a ledge where you can snipe a good two thirds of 'em given time, it's a cheap tactic but it works.

None of them but thats mostly because I had Fallout 3 stat Stealth suit and silent running which allowed me to either sneak crit/reverse pickpocket grenades/ignore anything in the game.

I died a lot more from Cazador poison than I did from anything else. I think it was just dumb luck though. I think by the time I first encountered a Deathclaw I already had level 90 Sneak, so it never saw me coming. But Cazadors are much harder to sneak by, and they have that ridiculous attack speed.

You know, I actually managed to get up on some rocks along the left side of the entrance that I don't think I was supposed to be able to get to. From there I took out nearly every Deathclaw in the quarry with the help of my companions, and the Deathclaws couldn't get to me. It was a very happy moment for obvious reasons.

I'd say Deathclaws normally scare the crap out of me though. They're just really fast and hard to kill. Were it not for the ledge I found in NV or the dart gun that crippled their legs in FO3 I'm not sure I'd have ever bothered with killing any of them.

If I ever saw that coming at me I would scream like a little *****. A Deathclaw's armour, speed and power and a Cazador's poison, agility and swarms? No thank you!

Fucking Cazadors man...I mean at least with Deathclaws you can cripple their legs, which makes the fight a hell of a lot easier and by the time reavers were introduced they really weren't an issue for my character at that point. But with Cazador's they speed at which they swoop around in the air makes things very frenetic out of vats and having to deal with swarms of those fuckers is just hell and I really needed to have Lily or somoene their to distract them and soak up the damage so I can snipe them out with the Gauss, otherwise if 2/3 of those things get near me, I'm basically fucked. 0_0 And this thread has reminded me that I still didn't bother to finish FNV...I should really get onto that...
