Poll: Character Creation

I always try to make a version of myself, or if it is a fantasy thing(like my WoW troll), I try to make them as close to my human form as possible, and if their is something that cant be copied, make it best suited for the class I want to do. I ended up making my troll have tall red hair that looked like fire because I was a fire mage. The best realistic one I have made so far is my Mass Effect character, but it was too limited, plus I had to make myself look his age instead of a teenager. No glasses or semi-afro hairstyle either.

I useually make myself with a 'Bruce Campell' or 'The Tick' chin (whichever seems funnier or more reasonable at the time).

Seriously, there is nothing cooler than having a chin you can deflect bullets with.

I like to make them reflect my personality, dark and somewhat twisted. Only with a certain Je ne sais quoi, a little personal, flare.

If you dislike Oblivion wait till Fallout 3! The huge list of beards sounds great as i do tend to only care about how awesome his beard is, and they were terrible on Oblivion.

If its a pc RPG ( read: Bioware), i try to make a female character that isnt incredibly ugly with weird rubber band hair, but usually i can't find one so i just make a male character.

I have a tendency of making black guys with afro's and giving them names like Jerome Funkerson (my character in oblivion).

I do videogame character & celebrities every now and then, and I often push toe sliders to the far end to see if the result is something unique I can use in creating my character.
Such as in Oblivion for example, when I pushed the skin color to the side to make the skin completely white and then made the eyeshadowing dark to make it look like a goth.

I rarely make myself, I do however often make the characters dress like me.

I also make alot of meme characters.

I'm usually creative with it, since I'm really terrible at trying to make characters that look like real life persons. I usually go in with a basic idea of what they'll look like (hair colour, eye colour, handsome or ugly, tall or short, etc.) and just see what happens from there.

The exception is fighting games (Like Soul Calibur 4) in which case I do try to make characters that somewhat resemble other characters. Right now in SC4 I have a Fighter, a Black Mage, Lyn from FE, Dr. McNinja, Zelda, Ganondorf, Rao from Okami, and The Hulk. After that I lost interest.

I usually try to make what I would think a "Jumplion" would look like.

Other than that, I make the most hideous thing known to man so I can laugh at the Emporor say "Let me look at your face, you are the one from my dreams" when I'm a hideous blue cat with a huge adam's apple and broom-hair.

First time i just play around with the sliders to get a better idea of how they chnge the player. Then i go from there, picking and choosing what i think looks good and suits the game really.

I like to have fun with the character look if it's an RPG or sports game. For fighting games, I try to make celebrities or other fictional characters. To date, my proudest achievement was succeeding on a dare to make Vash the Stampede from Trigun on Mortal Kombat: Armageddon.

I tried to make a character that looked like me in oblivion and failed... she looked more like an aquaintance of mine and it was awkward so I didn't play that file at all.

for the most part I try to make the character look like me.

I lack the ability to make any good video bame characters, but for video games I just randomly think on the spot.

I like to get creative and work on a face that looks like my favourite guitarists and singers or just make him/her look real bad ass!
