I've dated and had sex with some girls who were a little chubby, what would be called overweight

When in reality, they were very well proportioned for their height

Very proportioned...

Dear OP, I fear you may have sabotaged your own poll by including a blank option. The sirens song of the unknown has already led myself and 7 of our brothers and sisters to the choice which is not a choice. For Gods sake, man, remove the encroaching eternal nothingness before it leads us all astray! Man was not meant to withstand such temptation!

Lol, I have no idea what your poll is supposed to be asking. But I don't like extra fat on myself, nor do I think it looks good on guys. and since you weren't specific, I'll assume that by "chubby" you mean "fat" and are being polite.

I just don't see what's flattering about fat. Also, how "curvy" a woman is has way more to do with her body structure and proportions than what she weighs. There are plenty of women with 15-20 lbs. less than me with a more "feminine ideal" figure, simply because of the length of their torsos, hip width and naturally gaining fat in different places. So it's not like all skinny girls would grow a bodaceous womanly figure if they just ate a cheesesteak :v. I think that people should strive to be fit and healthy, that should be what's important rather rather than some arbitrary body type that is unattainable for most people.

Honestly, this kind of thread gets really tiring to see.

"Pleasantly Plump" is a phrase for a reason. It also depends on what you consider chubby to be. To me, chubby is your average person plus 15-20. So long as they still have an hour glass figure, I find a woman to be at least a little attractive. Besides, if you go too skinny, they won't have much of a bust which is something of a deal breaker to me.

There's nothing wrong with big girls, and I believe there is a such thing as "pretty fat". Makes them more cuddly.

...

Yeah. I'll shut up now.

Thank you for sharing your personal preference. I'll just be over here having my own preference and not accusing people of being shallow or manipulated by the media.

I don't mind girls being a little bit chubby, but anyone over around 13 odd stone instantly puts me off. Fat, Obease and Morbidly Obease are bad for the person's health and are a complete turn off to me.

But I have very anti fat views and I get kinda pissed off when people defend fat. If you want to have a lower life expectancy be my guest, just down got around telling other people it's ok. (Anorexia that the media cajoles people into isn't good either btw.)

EDIT: My definition of chubby is when fat is aplied to enhance curves. If I can grap a handful then they're fat to me.

Chubby isn't the same thing as fat. Just look at Rosie O'Donnell through the ages. She's been both of those things at one time or another.

Lol I said what I meant, when I say chubby its exactly what I mean "chubby", "fat" can only be used if the person is 50 pounds over there normal size, my poll is more towards what people see it as, not so much what they prefer, whither alot of people see this or not being skinny is not healthy our bodies are all designed to be a certain size, if your naturally thin thats another thing but you should strive to be that way, as long as your physically fit and have energy and can get around thats whats important and to be honest with you I'd rather have someone who has something I can hug rather then someone I could get the same results when I hug a lamp post

Sorry, but I can't handle Chubby. I spend at least six hours a week at the gym, I watch what I eat, and how often I eat. I put a lot of effort into it, simply because I have been overweight, and I hated it.
If I put that kind of effort in it, I want my partner to do the same.

I'm not saying chubby people are "bad", or undisciplined, or whatever. I'm saying I don't find them attractive, and I am well within my rights not to do so, no matter what is considered politically correct or not.

Too bad you been beaten to the punch, chief... [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.364257-Poll-So-I-think-I-like-fat-chicks]

I say same ting I say over dare... I like me healthy girl...

well at least I put it in a nicer way, then he did I hate it how people call girls "chicks" and another sad fact is theres a difference between "chubby" and "fat" but people throw them together anyway and has anyone ever considered someone to be "big boned" maybe because there is such a thing
Tee hee. I used the term "fat chicks" because that's how a lot of women (regardless of what they actually look like) see themselves. Go for the worst connotation and embrace it, I say. I don't like to make compromises like "I find chubby women attractive, but..." People hear that all the time and it's boring. Every person on the planet might as well be under that "but" categorization. I like "everything, except" can apply to anything and everybody. I'm taking a stand on this issue. I would like to be involved with a skinny girl just to see what it was like, but no women are really interested in me nowadays, since I don't leave the house and suffer from crippling depression. So no "chicks" of any variety for poor old me. :( I could probably score some Peeps, though. It is Easter.

well I only made this poll to see what peoples opinions were to be honest all and all in my mind it shouldn't matter what you look like its the type of person you are is what makes someone likes you thought lots of people don't believe that, its so simple they don't get it and by the way don't say that about yourselves theres always someone out there for someone just have to wait and see

Oh man, this issue. It's more or less impossible to get a clear idea of what anyone's thinking because we all have totally different ideas of what constitutes "skinny," "fat," "chubby" and just about every other word used to describe human bodyweight ever. Even "healthy."

I'm in the somewhat interesting position of being a woman who likes women, so I can see this from both sides. I know what I find attractive in a woman physique-wise, and I also know how I feel about my own body. Personally, as someone who's quite serious about the gym I'm more likely to be attracted to someone who looks like they put a bit of physical effort into their physique as well. Meaning I like women who have a bit of muscle. They can be petite or larger framed, I don't mind, and they don't have to be a bodybuilder or have no fat on them at all, I'm just talking about a bit of muscle definition. Of course I'm not going to write someone off completely because they're truly skinny (by which I mean no fat but no muscle either) or because they're carrying a few extra pounds, I'm just talking about the sort of woman who'd turn my head based on physique alone. And obviously people of all shapes and sizes can have gorgeous faces too.

I'll be honest, I can't see myself being attracted to someone who was actually overweight in a purely physical sense, though obviously personality is the most important thing, so whatever. Also bear in mind that because my parents are both medical professionals I have a somewhat stricter idea of what constitutes "overweight" than some others seem to.

The thing that pisses me off is when people abuse words like "chubby" and "curvy" to avoid admitting that someone is overweight. Especially curvy. Curvy means a little nipped-in waist and (proportionally) big hips and boobs. Very petite people can be curvy, as can overweight people. A lot of overweight people, however, are not curvy.

Sorry about the rant.

TL;DR: yes, I would find a chubby girl attractive so long as she was actually a healthy weight and not "healthy" in the euphemistic sense in which it is sometimes used.

well a good woman is a blend of things. not just looks. theres a whole physicality that can make some chubby's just damn hot and some thin girls just move in a way that makes them appealing as an empty sack.

then you have intellect, humour , interests and the whole array of personality

but for me every time it comes down to big tits and a low self esteem.

just kidding! breast size doenst really matter to me

Curvy, a little extra weight, voluptuous are sexy. Chubby and skinny I'm not particularly attracted to. UK sizes 10-16 are nice sizes. Bigger or smaller than that will depend on the woman ;-)

Oh, really? I will just edit my attraction protocls and hit the save butto... oh, wait. Thats not how it works, you find what you fint attractive and I will find what I find attractive. Deal?

Oh and you dont have to find someone attractive to NOT be a dickhead and bully them about their appearance.

Captcha: Lumpy Gravy... blame Captcha for any jokes you think of, not me.
