SInce the bugs in my house have accounted for.... one baboon spider (large, nonvenomous biting thing- put outside) one giant whipscorpion (pincers, no tail, fucking enormous otherwise (required empty ice-cream tub to get it out of the bath) one regular-size whipscorpion, one flying nasty ************ with enormous antennae (crushed unto death), one preying mantis (dog tried to eat it) and one genuine scorpion (cought and released) I must say that we either kill things or are merciful. Roaches will not be tolerated- they die. As with flies and other pests that are actively dangerous. Anything else will be removed.

We don't have any poisonous insects in Sweden (beyond the mere wasp/bumblebee of course)
so I'm not really afraid of bugs, but think them to be generally disgusting.

If we had poisonous insects (such as deadly insects) I'd carry with me a can of hair spray, propane, some lighter fluid and a lighter at all times...

I honestly try and pick it up (with my hands if it's not a stick insect, which for some reason scare the shit out of me) then I chuck it out my window (ground floor)
That.

Or if it's a really big spider, I get my Bo staff out.

Do you yell "Bo!" when you hit it? it's the unwritten law of killing spiders with a Bo staff to do so.

Ignore it, or pick it up and put it outside the house. Never quite got why people turn to killing straight away. After all, you gotta tidy the mess up. I don't know about you guys, but I'll leave my carpet without bug guts for as long as I can.

I'm surprised at how many people have said that they would "ignore it".

That thing's probably laying eggs in your food as we speak.
