The Giant Enemy Crab has surprisingly high speed for a Giant Enemy Crab, is it because he's giant? Well I think i'll put my money on the the giant crustacean for no other reason than I like seafood and I am hungry.

I can see the battlefield now. A wretched wasteland of death. Bodies strewn about like ragdolls. The giant enemy crab has taken down a vast force, seeing as the US Army doesn't have one Japanese dude with a sword in it's standard layout. But lo! From the wreckage doth a competitor stand! A single dog destined to prove his worth as man's best friend. A dog with nothing to lose anymore! A dog, that dances with death. CoD Dog. As the wind whistles across the wastes, the battle begins. Claw vs. Paw, tooth vs. Antennae. The giant enemy grab lunges forward with it's massive pincer, hurling aside a pile of bodies, only to find the dog is not there. For with it's vast military training, it knew to hide in the ditches, as shells of artillery rain from the sky. It lunges out, dashing up the claw, attempting to get an edge on such a fierce opponent. As the crab reaches up to grab CoD dog the dog jumps off it's back. Readying itself for another attack. The dog sees it's opportunity, with both pincers above it, it is clearly off balance. He charges, digging straight into the ground, ready to use the beast's own weight to topple it. As sure as the sun rises, the crab takes a step into the pit. As the Giant Enemy Crab begins to flip over, CoD Dog readies itself for its lunge. It knows. Today is not the day I die. I must die in a soldier's arms, so that the tears of the audience helps to get across the idea that war is a sad affair. It is CoD Dog's duty to become a martyr. But not like this. It rushes forward, ready to take the opening. Ready to strike the weak point for MASSIVE DAMAGE. The dog leaps into the air bringing down the full force of......

Damnit. Internet cut out. I have to restart from the checkpoint? @#$% you Microsoft! Seriously.

If anime has taught me anything, it's that emotions give you super powers.

Dog it is!
See, I'd agree if the dog was from a Japanese game. As it stands, only the crab's emotions come into play.

Crab wins by virtue of being a Japanese giant crab.

Giant Enemy Crab wins since he can attack For Massive Damage.
(Type in either one of those in any Scribblenauts games and you get Giant Enemy Crab)
(Also, do you think that in the next Scribblenauts game, you can summon the CoD Dog?)

I completely forgot about this HOWEVER the Dog is based off of Western design and of Western background so anime rules likely won't help it out too much. The Dog would likely have won if that was the case, using the strength of emotion to attack the Enemy Crab's weak point...but a dog is a dog no matter how much military training. Label me a t'rrist if you must but I voted Enemy Crab. It can accidentally kill the dog by pushing a building onto it. Also it's giant.

There is a little 'Giant Enemy Crab' in all of us. I am more surprised people aren't questioning the crab's military training.
I just want to point one thing out: This is the best fucking thread on the entire site right now.
I wish I could find the clip from Batman Beyond where a regular dog goes paw to paw with a giant mutated monstrosity that was a dog, armed only with teeth, claws, the desire for vengeance because dog fighting is bad, and moxy. Ace didn't have military training!

If the dog is to operate by western rules and can use any military equipment a dog can use, then he can use anything. That dog can drive a tank! Hooray for shit movies!

Going with the dog.

a-HA!

Well. Since dogs can only eat the crab after it has been prepared and a dog doesn't have the opposable thumbs required to do so, the crab must win.

The giant crab will eat anything. Well, maybe not another giant crab. But it will eat a dog with some military training.

Probably the crab. If it can survive having both of its claws smashed off by an angry black man who wields a pillar of stone as a weapon, it can survive a dog, no matter how much TV the dog has.

Hmm. I have to say, I'm impressed by the crab's surprising capacity for emotion. And military training. Besides, the only category CodDog really has going for him is emotion, and most of that emotion will be come from his inevitable death so....I'm gonna have to go with the Giant Enemy Crab on this one. Unless of course, CodDog manages to attack it's weak point for massive damage.

Well the CoD Dog doesn't have the experience of fighting in famous battles which actually took place in ancient Japan like the Giant Enemy Crab does.

But then again Giant Enemy Crab doesn't have emotions, and emotions is power. Tough one to call.

That and I'm also wondering how Giant Enemy Crab got so much military training.

But ya, I'm going with the one that's the size of a small city and could step on the other by accident without even realizing, I mean what exactly is the dog going to do to the crab anyway?

Giant enemy crab would try to claw the dog, the dog would evade, the dog would bite the giant crab, breaking its teeth on the hard chitinous shell, and while it was dazed from that the giant crab would snatch him up, clip the dog in twain, and start eating the gooey insides of CoD dog.

The Dog. Why? Simple.

The giant enemy crab model is not taken from high resolution scans of an actual seal service giant enemy crab. The dog is. The dog wins. Then gets shot in the back by the dirty foreigners in a cutscene.

well its CoD dog so it has no emotions.
But look at all those polygons, AND it's been mo-caped. If that's not emotions than I don't know what is.

As we all know, polygons is emotions. Since emotions is polygons and polygons is emotions. Since polygons is emotions, and books using believable plots is not emotions and may as well be fiction, then we can conclude that we do not require a believable plotline for a quality, high definition story. With more polygons and higher definitions meaning more emotion, the giant enemy crab, with fewer emotions that the dog, is clearly at a significant disadvantage. The dog will win every time.
