Coke, my grampa worked for them for decades, my dad for a while, too. My grampa actually got mad if he ever saw Pepsi products in our house. Was funny those odd times ordered food came with Pepsi for free and we got dirty looks for having the stuff. I do prefer the taste of Coke, too, though.

Fun fact: Most people actually prefer pepsi, as long as they don't know what they're drinking.

(skip to number 1 for relevance).

A portion of you coke fans are being lied to by your own brain. You'll never be able to trust your thinkbox again.

I like diet coke myself. Though I remain unsure if that is because of Coke's fantastic skill at marketing, or if I actually just like the taste better. Oh cultural conditioning, you so silly...

To quote Yahtzee, "Pepsi tastes like someone's ringing out their old gym socks into my mouth." At least I believe that what he said.

You know, I've seen this asked a lot.

And oddly, it seems to reach the rather interesting conclusion most of the time that the majority of people in the US prefer Pepsi, while the majority of people in the rest of the world prefer Coke.

You might think that's just random, but there might be an actual reason for it. Apparently Coke sold in the US is made using High Fructose corn syrup.

Just about everywhere else, it's made using cane sugar.

Myself, I prefer Coke. Although over recent years I've developed a taste for Cherry Coke instead.

Pepsi is OK, but to me it tastes like every generic cola brand there is. And most of those are much, much cheaper.

As for 'diet'... Eh, diet anything tastes bad enough to me that I'd rather have water. Which is annoying because they'll often sneak those awful artificial sweeteners into cordial, but not make it obvious from the packaging.

Now why would I mix something that tastes that awful into water, if I'd actually just prefer plain water given the choice? Defeats the whole purpose of drinking stuff like that if it doesn't even taste good.

When it comes to the companies, I think I like Pepsi a little more because of Dr. Pepper and, Mountain Dew. Also while Pepsi teases us with Mountain Dew Black, Coke looses points for permanently killing off Coke Blak.

When it comes to Coka-Cola vs Pepsi Cola though, it's Coke all the way. I can't stand Pepsi...to me it tastes like coke that's gone flat and, warm but then been re-chilled in a failed attempt at bringing its flavor back.

Neither. Drink of choice lately is Jarritos Mexican Cola. Otherwise, Amp regular flavor. I can't find the berry or the grape anymore.

The winner is.... Mexican Coke!

... or Pepsi.

Though until they start using Sugar in their formulas again instead of High Fructose Corn Syrup, we're all losers.

I prefer Coke to Pepsi (blind taste test). Pepsi has a weird aftertaste and Coke has a certain bite to it I like--I especially prefer the Mexican Coke made with real sugar (my local burrito shop sells it--ftw!)
That said, of the major sodas I prefer Dr. Pepper.

If I get to pick non-major soda brands, I'll go with the Blenheim Extra Spicy Ginger Ale. Because Ginger is my fave.
Then San Pelligrino Lemon Soda.
Then Spezi.

Neither. Dont drink that stuff, it isn't good for you.
nether is a mile and a half long list of other stuff we eat daily, best to not worry about 'whats good for you' and go with 'what you enjoy', more so if you already have some kinda exercise you do regularly
