Do you complete everything in a game? Strive to go all out? (completionist) Or do you you want to fly through it as fast as possible to get to the next rush (completist)?

Alright, alright so the labels aren't great and tbh I am not sure if they are correct but you get the idea!

Personally I enjoy digging into a great story or characters (no pun intended) - I obsessively play a bioware game for story and admittedly am not too fussed about gameplay. The Elder scrolls game were my other guilty pleasure in this respect. But then when it comes to Crysis (I play cheap old games by the way usually picking them up when the sequels come out :p) I recently wanted to just soar through, maybe it's in the nature of the games but if that's true, I loved taking my time listening to data logs in Bioshock and FEAR. Also, would be good to get some nice suggestions on mature(r) puzzle games with a great story - Professor layton is good but something deeper and more engaging to my tastes would be nice :p.

I used to be a ridiculous completionist, but now I tend to just do what I can and if I feel like playing more of a game I will probably go for as much as I feel is reasonable. The problem is that I don't have as much free time as I used to and there are more games that I want to play out there that I can afford. Being a kid that only gets a new game for birthdays and Christmas caused me to play what few games I had to death. Now that I have disposable income, I have to actually budget my time.

I'm more of a completionist than a completist, as I have quite a number of games I've ever finished because I got bored trying to do a load of extra stuff. That said, it's rare I ever manage to finish absolutely everything in a game, unless there isn't a lot to start with. It's the main reason I question whther it's actually worth buying a new Disgaea game whenever a new one comes out (I still haven't bought 3, though I'll probably get 4).

Me and my mate played Tales of Symphonia trying to get everything in it, was alot of fun and surprising to see just how much content namco put in that thing. I mean there was enough details and depth for a good 2-3 games.

Completionist isn't a word.

I play games until I get bored of them. I only bother getting extra stuff if there's some reward. Finding souvenirs in Crysis 2 is not fun nor rewarding.

I Play until I'm bored, if the content is interesting, then I play as much as I can, if not then I leave out a boatload. So it mostly depends on the game, but I chose the third option as it sounds closest.

I generally go through and complete as much as I happen to come across during the game.

Unless it's oblivion or Morrowind, then I try to complete as much as I can.

Generally I'm no achievement hunter, I hate achievements. Really annoying playing with my mates when all they wanna do is like get 12 somethings that are really dull and hard to do.

Normally first playthrew a game just focus on main quest, odd side mission. If a really like a game i'll do some of the side quests, or re-play it. Othwerwise once i've seen the end credits I don't go back to get completition up to 100% (unless naturally its at about 95% or whatever.)
