Friendlier input is fine, but it's when that friendlier input is the source of limiting the abilities of a player that it becomes a problem. A good example of that is the UI of Skyrim. With a UI designed for the PC, getting around it would be easy, quick, and intuitive. Because it was designed for the consoles and thus the limited inputs of a 360 controller, it's muddled down, slow, and confusing.
