my eyes just dont accept contacts i just feel them and it bugs me like crazy and other than that you can still look good with glasses and the amount of people needing some kind of vision correction is ever expanding (its not just for nerds anymore!!)

Most people get soft lenses. They're some sort of plastic polymer or something.
Contacts > Glasses. I swim with them in every day, open my eyes under water, and besides the occasional blurryness/foggyish thing from that (damn my lifeguarding job saving bricks at the bottom!) they're perfect. I get a wide field of view that's corrected and they really don't bother me ever.

I wear glasses. I have contacts, but it's just a hassle to wear them most of the time. I know I look better without the glasses though, so if I'm being vain I'll go with contacts. Sometimes having plastic on your face can be inconvenient as well. Luckily I think I look pretty good with glasses also, so I usually don't mind wearing them.

Glasses for me. I feel uncomfortable with the the thought of having paper thin bits of glass or plastic floating on my eyes. I'm happy with glasses (well, not these ones, they're not strong enough), once I get a pipe and a copy of Proust's A la Recherche Du Temps Perdu, the look will be complete.

Plus I look better with glasses than without

Glasses!

Seriously, i can't "use" contact lenses. (is it use or wear?) Eyes have a shape like a egg, but mine is closer to a football! 8 years ago, they said contact lenses would force my eyes to return to a proprer form. It didn't work. It was like i was poke in the eyes and I coundn't wear them for more than a hour. It a shame really because for the first time, I didn't saw a blurred space like the kind you get when you look over your glasses.

So, I'm saving for laser surgery. When i get the dought, i'll let you know!

Glasses for me, but Honestly I hate those fucking thick rimmed glasses. They just look ugly.

I wear glasses because my eyes look really small and my glasses make my eyes look normal sized.

I prefer my glasses. They're transition lenses; it's nice to have the brightness of the outside world toned down a bit.

I honestly didn't mind contacts, and actually somewhat preferred them, but I kept knocking them out of my eyes; I've grown out of the "rubbing my eyes all the time" schtick though, so I may give them another go.

So after not wearing contacts for about 6 months i decide to put them in (i think it's because i'm going to a thing, with someone i like, in a day or so). Anyways it almost hurts to look at this screen because... well my contacts are killing my eyes so i was wondering escapians (since the nerd stereotype is that all nerds wear glasses) which do you prefer.
NEITHER!!
I'm getting laser eye surgery in 2 weeks......but I wear glasses for driving

I look far more awesome in glasses than without them, plus contacts are not really worth the time and effort...

That's funny I wear glasses while life guarding and I never had a problem with it :p

Glasses. I always found myself somehow trusting people with glasses more. Perhaps that it is they don't feel the need to hide it with contacts. (I know not all people who wear contacts do so to hide that they have a vision problem)

^^ This. The idea of putting anything in my eye weirds me out. Glasses are just more natural... then again, been wearing them since I was 4.
