Poll: Controller of Choice

I love the PS3 control. the 360 just feels big a clunky, and i suck at PC gaming

I'm not a PC gamer so I'm not familiar with the keyboard/mouse set up. Even when I did play Starcraft and Diablo, I would always wish I could play those with a more traditional controller (born a console gamer, gonna die one)

My choice was the Xbox360 remote. It feels...right. Much more natural for FPS, no motion gimmick, just pure, simple gaming. If the PS3 controller kept the L and R buttons the same as the PS2 design, I would have been sound-as-a-pound but, no...they replaced L2 and R2 with marshmallows.

I'm not familiar with the ps3 controller, what do you mean replaced L2 and R2 with "marshmallows"

If you're not used to them, they feel like they give in too easily.

Arcade stick (either my custom made arcade-in-a-box controller or a Madcatz TE). Nothing like hitting those half dollar sized buttons, and the control is second to none. And all the buttons are at all your fingertips instead of your thumb and index fingers. Made the switch from pad years ago, never looked back since.

Either the 360 controller or keyboard and mouse. Although I'm a bit more comfortable with the 360 controller, just because I've been using it longer.

The PS3 controller feels really awkward and lacks triggers... ugh.

If were being broad here, I'd have to say the original DS (not the stylus bit, god no). It just felt good for me, and It didnt worry me playing it for hours (which is always good). Presently, however, the 360 controller takes the cake for me.

360/PS2-3/GC controllers, simply because they are identical and controllers are just what most of us have grown up with.

(spent about 10 hours just editing Saints Row 2 for PC to use the PS3 button icons)

The Gamecube Controller.

Its so comfortable, and the positions of the buttons are all at good spots for the size of my hands.

I agree with this 100%. The Cube controller is the best controller I've ever used.

Mouse and keyboard, although I will I've tried to use the dance pad (for DDR) on other playstation games back in the day and it set the standard for epic fail.
